The food here is about average but nothing to write home about. The breakfasts are the best but the dinner often has soggy string beans or peas. I havenât eaten much here but was in last month and it seems to be getting better. As a local I have eaten here for 17 years and since the years when coffee and cigarettes filled the air. Thank God the cigarette smell is gone.

I am sad that I live in Palo Alto CA and this restaurant is in southern Oregon! I had the strawberry spinach salad and a fabulous vegetarian pasta dish (hazelnut pesto primavera, with many interesting and successfully combined ingredients)â and two local wines. Simply fabulous. Different without being quirky. Calm, happy environment. Reasonably priced too. Agreeable staff. Great place.

Food was great, service was excellent. Patio was awninged to provide shade. Inside seating was comfortable pub setting but had that noisy ambiance that made talking to a group of diners more difficult. Menu was more varied than last visit so all of us found something to like, including our vegan friend.

Salud Restaurant and Brewery was created from a passion for unique Latin inspired foods and an obsession with good craft beer. We are deeply rooted in this community and greatly appreciate our loyal patrons. We want our restaurant to be the first place yo
The food is definitely more than beans and rice, it is creative takes on familiar Latin dishes. We were delighted with the food and the service. Now the but--we weren't enamored with their IPAs. We tried two and found them both more malty with less hop flavor and aroma than is usually encountered at Oregon breweries. The red ale was good and well balanced. They were not poorly made just not IPA style. Definitely go for the food.

I intended to eat elsewhere but that restaurant was closed [unexpectedly]. Rodeo was nearby. The greeting was slow and not friendly at all. The room is freezing, uncomfortably air conditioned even though it was not hot outside. I should have left right then but I was really hungry. I ordered a fruit flavored lemonade with a double shot of vodka since I like to take the spirits. I complained to my server that I couldn't find the vodka in there but she had no comment or followup to remedy the situation. I had the senior portion of prime rib with salad, potato, and biscuit for $25. It was properly cooked, medium rare. That is the best I can say for the entire meal. The salad would have been nice but it was swimming in bleu cheese dressing. More is not always better. I had a glass of cabernet and left 3/4 of my lemonade drink untouched. Since my server had never addressed my complaint about my drink, I asked to speak to the manager. She was full of excuses, but nothing else. I offered her a taste but she was quick and rude to share that she doesn't drink. Attitude! Finally she agreed to take the drink off my bill. It was over $10 for a piss-poor drink. I don't know if their attitude was reflective of me being a solo female diner or if they treat everyone so poorly. Their prices were quite high for a family style steak house but not my problem. Sizzler is almost next door. It would have been a much better choice.
