The Aldinga Hotel is horrible. Extremely poor customer service. We ate there previously on another occasion and asked if they could cut a schnitzel in half for our two children as they do not offer kids schnitzelâs and they flat out said no, because they would have to do it for everyone else. We decided to go there once again as our 6-year-old wanted to go there for his birthday. We asked again if they could cut their schnitzel in half, and a very rude staff female staff said, âWe had a meeting about it and it AINT GOING TO HAPPN!â Clearly this lady knows very little about customer service and how to be kind. When we explained it isnât hard to cut a schnitzel inf half, she replied âExactly, it isnât hard, you do itâ. Really, this is her response to a paying customer? She then continued to laugh at my son when he also told her it wasnât hard to do. If we wanted to cut it ourselves, we would not have asked. The chef is obviously either too lazy or does not understand customer service. The reason we ask is because our kids do not feel like they are getting their own meal as the pub does not offer a kidsâ schnitzel option and the adult size is simply too big for their little bellies. It is a simple request to make our kids happy and they failed. The way the spoke to me and my children is not acceptable. My father who was with us also is a well-respected Italian chef in the city and was horrified by how rude they were to me and his grandson. He said good customer service should always come first. Very rude staff and extremely poor customer service. I would strongly not recommend this hotel. On the plus side, my son had a good birthday. We went to the Willunga Pub. They Willunga Pub do awesome kids schnitzelâs and the staff are very friendly and accomadating. A great end to a horrible night start at the Aldinga Pub.

Visited Magnum's today after some months only to find that it is now part of a chain and under new management. We ordered garlic prawns and were horribly disappointed. One lady's prawns were insufficiently cooked and inedible. The rest were just simply awful. If we had closed our eyes we would have had no idea what we were eating - tasteless and pointless. Where was the Garlic??? And the salad bar? Dismal to say the least. Total waste of $26 (so not cheap anyway) even though the manager deducted one meal and the wine. Will never go back.

A down to earth live music venue with food, set on 5 aces of garden. Reasonably priced hime cooked meals, cheap drinks, free music, super family friendly atmosphere. Book ahead, we fill up fast.
Disappointed in this place, which is known for its live music. The acoustics didn't do the vocals justice, though the instruments' sound quality was reasonable. The food was, to put it nicely, average. Chips tasted like they'd been fried two hours earlier and several items at our table were practically cold. You could smell the deep fryer oil in the air. Some parts of our meals were ok. Decor is cool but the food and acoustics would have to improve alot before I'd go back. (Smoking zone needs to be much further from the entrance too.)Hi Martha,Thanks for your feedback.May I please ask the following:Which gig were you here for and what table number or booking name were you under please? You weren't booked under your name. How many of you were here?We wil take your feed back on board. I wish you would have approached me on the night. Its a pity when a small family business doesnt get direct feedback, so we have the opportunity to do something for you there and then - instead taking to social media. We dont pretend to be something we are not. There are no chefs here. Its myself and a couple of local staff in the kitchen. We promote ourselves as a live music venue with food. What meals did you order? The chips are cooked there and then, fresh. The food is plated and sent out immediately with no wait time, once its ready. We just received a 5 Star rating from the health dept, for our safe food practices and kitchen cleanliness. The outdoor smoking zone is within regulation. We cant ban what is legal. We can only follow guidelines set for us.I always ask when collecting plates if everything was ok, if meals were ok.On the very rare occassion someone might not be 100%, but I make sure they are by the time they leave, because our service here is our number one priority.I hope to hear back from you soon.Kind regards, Tanya :)

Popular South Australian pub situated on the beautiful cliffs of Sellicks, overlooking the Fleurieu Peninsula. Bar drinks and menu available. Restaurant dining inside and out available also. Wine Cellar. Beer garden. Functions.
This pub is a South Australian legend and justly deserves that mantel. In a beautiful location the food lives up to expectations. Seafood is the go but the steaks looked fabulous also. We started with some squid - splendid! Two of us ate the barramundi special which was excellent although it was a toss up with coorong mullet looking good also. Our other two dinners had the beef massaman and duck breast and both were declared excellent. An excellent wine list here supplements the food and views. Top notch.

We make wine. We brew beer. We celebrate food. Victorâs Place is an operational winey, brewery and kitchen which is ideally located at The Gateway To McLaren Vale.
Fantastic food and great wines...we all thoroughly enjoyed our dinner choices and were impressed by the flavour combinations and presentation. We especially loved the crispy skin duck.....so tender and delicious!Victors Brewery has a lovely ambience ,very friendly staff and a great outdoor area too. Before we ordered our bottles of wine for dinner we enjoyed some tastings of Victor's wines....another little extra service....Try the coconut sphere on dessert menu....truly surprising !

Every week I weaken for some decent beer. Its a great bar with staff that know your name and have a chat . They do a lot of quick food choices these days too and the local pizza sends up pizzas to order which are good . All in all just a great bar

Typical Australian Pub with resturant
Recently my husband and I dropped into this historic hotel for a Sunday lunch in the Dining Room. We found the atmosphere very relaxing, and coupled with the extremely friendly and informative service, we experienced a most enjoyable lunch. My Prawn Risotto and my husband's Chicken Caesar Salad were both delicious and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend a visit.

We visited here today for lunch with another couple after a tour of the Cube. The meals were well presented and tasty. The waitress who attended to us was very friendly and efficient. We will definitely be returning and recommend the Old Bush Inn for a great lunch.
