Rocky's is located in Cedar Island Marina overlooking Clinton Harbor, Cedar Island and Long Island Sound. Enjoy the never ending activity with the constant boat traffic, the southwesterly trade winds on one of our two beautiful decks.
Rocky's Aqua in Clinton has the best lobster rolls on the east coast! Hands down, it was the best in every way. We tried several different places up and down the coast, but nothing compared to Rocky's Aqua. The photos really do not do it justice. The lobster roll was packed with biggest chunks of lobster meat (see photos), while the other restaurants simply shredded little pieces of lobster meat and then added filler to it. Rocky's was the only one that gave you big bites and nothing else. The staff was amazing, and i must say, more than just a little attentive...they were right there for your every need. The place was packed, and yet the staff never faltered. We liked the place so much that we came back again the next day and tried different things on the menu--including the best seared Ahi Tuna steak, Lobster Ravioli, and Swordfish--which i hadn't tried for 35yrs--and it was cooked to perfection! But wait! It got better...they serve homemade ice cream on a beautiful patio as well. And they offered several flavors of homemade ice cream. It's the best! The restaurant overlooks the water. Everything was superb, and the staff was excellent in every way. I cannot recommend this place enough.Frank,It was our pleasure to host you while you were traveling! We'll catch up again soon! Thanks for the kind words!

Decided to eat here on a whim and very glad we did. Hilarious waitress aside, the seating was enough, the food was excellent, and the proximity was great. We thought the décor was a bit tired, and perhaps the price was slightly too much, but then that's common for plenty of places in new England. Worth a visit.

The food here has definitely gotten better. I had the sliders and fries, and they were very good, especially for a sports bar. My daughter had sweet potato fries, and I was quite jealous--delicious! The prices were not unreasonable, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I should add that it was quite slow, so things might be very different had we come at a busier time. The waiter was friendly and helpful, and the place was clean.

I recently visited the Highliner and had a great time. The bar is an older looking former train station (I think) which still has an old wood stove and a couple train chairs. The bar had a couple good beers and during the football games, they had great chili dogs. I've been down to Westbrook/Clinton/Old Saybrook many times but had never been here before my recent trip. I would definitely stop here again...

Full service Bar & dining-room , great food, large menu, reasonable prices. Enclosed porch, smoking deck, Pinball, Pool & Darts. Wifi Juke-Box. Bar is open Mon- Thurs 9:00am - 1:00am Friday & Saturday 9:00am-2:00am Sunday 11:00am - 1:00 am
We had never stopped here before - not pleased. The place is mainly for drinkers packed around a noisy bar. Food is ordinary, service is slow. Many other better choices in the area. Cannot recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit last night to this fairly new establishment. Service was friendly and efficient, plenty of seating, the food was fantastic, great pub fare that is more upscale than the typical, Philly Cheese steak Spring rolls were incredible - as was the Short Rib Grilled Cheese with Au Ju for dipping. There are healthy eating options on the menu like a fresh Salmon dish, Beer selection is good, and I had a Mermaid Water, refreshing tropical taste on a chilly winter evening. This is a place anyone can visit and feel comfortable - families, couples, girls or guys night out.

Had the cilantro chicken salad which had zero cilantro. Also kale salad with grilled chicken.... definitely needed something else as it tasted blank. Calamari app was ok but could have been cooked more. Overall was a nice lunch but nothing to be excited about.

Had lunch here today, sat outside, other people had their dogs sitting or lying with them. I had the shrimp salad and my husband had the plant based burger. My salad had s nice mix of flavors and his did taste like a burger. We each had the dressing on the side and only used 1/2 of it.

Lots of good grease! We had an early dinner. Excellent service. We ate way too much. The portions are more than ample. The fried oysters starter was very good. The lobster/shrimp special was excellent. And the seafood platter is enormous and good. Could not finish it. If you like fried seafood, this is the place. They have other selections but why not order good grease??

We had a couple of very good burgers. A large beer selection and drinks. Service was very good. Parking lot is kind of small and fill up fast. Bit costly, but worth the extra for burgers that are this quality. Right on route 1 so very easy to find. We will be going back.
