Hard to find place, with front door located in the back. Small m and cozy. Active bar scene daily. Noisy with families. Big burgers and fries. Decor is fair. Popular with young families and early diners. Ice cream for dessert is delicious. Easy access parking in the back.

My wife and I enjoyed a nice burger and beer at the Oak Barrel. They have a nice selection of draft beers. We also enjoyed, and I would recommend, the arugula salad as a starter. It was big enough for us to share and very tasty. I had the bleu ring burger, which I enjoyed, even though it was a little over cooked. The burger came with French fries. My wife had the regular burger and she enjoyed that as well. Not much special with the décor, although they did have a lot of interesting old pictures of the local area.

We had my sonâs graduation party at McLooneâs West Orange. There were 16 of us for brunch. It was horrendous! The service was unacceptable. Firstly, I had to clean up the dirty dishes from our table and put them on another table where the party left and was still dirty. I had to do this the ENTIRE time I was there. Secondly, not once beside when we first sat down, did someone come and ask us for anything to drink. My husband had to find our server to get 2 iced teas and the server never even asked one person from my entire table if someone wanted anything to drink. Unacceptable. And to boot the 20% gratutuity was already included. I have no problem tipping extra for good service, however, this wasnât even mediocre service!!!Lastly, the food was terrible. There were no dessert selections beside a few donuts, cookies and pretzels. For the money that is paid, even the pasta was disgusting. The waffles were hard you couldn't even cut them with a knife and there were no strawberries filled every time I went up, the French toast was unedible. There was nothing besides the clams/shrimp that I enjoyed eating. I know that usually dinner/lunch is just okay, however brunch has always been better. Now I wont even come for brunch. This was a waste of money in my opinion!

First, parking. My wife and I searched in vain for a street parking place in front of, side streets, or rear of this pub. Maybe the third time around the block, my wife spied the Egan parking lot behind the pub! It's big, but the couple we met also missed it. The pub is excellent. Excellent food, extensive beer list. My wife is vegetarian, and there were a number of choices for her. We recommend the "Irish Toasties" (small toasted sandwiches with tomato, cheese, mushrooms and bacon). The Shepherd's Pie (here "Cottage Pie") was well done with small chunks of tender beef. My wife's salad topped with salmon she described as perfectly done and delicious. The wife of the couple we met complained of a cold. She had a Hot Toddy, and later turned to her husband and said, "Honey, order me another one of those. It's really helped!" We met for lunch on.a Saturday to avoid night driving, and stayed for three hours -- an excellent time.

Brisket sandwich was tasty and tender but not enough meat and a bit fatty. Pulled Pork platter was good and generous portions. Service was friendly and efficient and the place is comfortable. Coleslaw and sweet potato fries were decent. Cornbread was average and broccoli casserole was not so good. Overall and enjoyable meal. Thank you for your positive recommendation. We love getting feedback from our customers and are happy to hear about how great your experience was. We look forward to seeing you the next time you stop by from some mouthwatering BBQ!Thanks again!!

The good: 3 couples and everyone liked their food, but for some reason we expected more. Service was very good but there was an annoying little error. Restaurant was trendy but also very noisy. Prices were a little higher than comparable venues. Overall, it was a very good restaurant but but I don't think we will be going back

Went Tuesday for lunch. Sat in back atrium area. Pleasant with lots of natural light. Also outside patio seating available in good weather. Server was very nice and efficient but not especially attentive and restaurant was not crowded. Hamburger was very good and waffle fries were excellent.

Give me a relaxed welcoming environment serving great food over a uptight fancy pants restaurant serving overpriced food every time. Star Pizzeria did not disappoint. Here I will say that it's everything that makes it great. The chill bar with lots of tables, tv's, locals, cheap beer, and good food. We ordered a plain and pepporni pizza. The pizza was crispy, cheesy, and tasty. It was good in a thin crust bar style pizza is good. Would I go back just for the pizza? Probably not but if someone wants good food, cheap drinks, and a casual atmosphere. Star Tavern is a great spot.
