Food here is just okay. Good deals on Mondays and Tuesday's with cheap burgers and tacos, respectively. But cheap doesn't mean great. These are ok, but I don't crave them. Drink specials are good, but again, not mind blowing good. Just good. Lots of beer choices, tho. Also, lots of screens to see games.

Two of us stopped for brunch, only because their was no parking spaces available at our first restaurant choice. We saw the parking lot was almost empty and wondered if the Prospect Cafe was even open. Tried the door and it was open. Yeah. Interior was pleasant, clean and inviting, albeit almost empty. Our server was very attentive. Apps were a cohoice of loaded fries, calamari or a cheese plate. We ordered the calamari. Donât bother, obviously frozen and like chewing on rubber bands. I ordered a burger. It was cooked more on the medium side, than medium rare, but was surprisingly delicious and very juicy. It also was huge, like a full 16 oz! Amazing. My friend ordered a chicken tortilla, and ate every morsel. Wanted to try some of the deserts, but were too full. We will go back. Overall service was excellent and most of the food was delicious.Thank you for visiting Prospect Cafe. We appreciate your comments. We wish you had mentioned the calamari and would have gladly cooked it more to your liking. Interesting fact about Prospect Cafe - we do not have a freezer! Everything is made fresh, including our sauces and salad dressings! Hope to see you again soon.

Went here last night with large group of people. The beer selection was great with rotating craft beers on tap and cans. Our waitress was very good at offering onsite on beers and food. Everyone really enjoyed there food. I personally tried risotto fritters, fried green tomatoes and deviled eggs all were great. For meal I got beef tenderloin. The meat was so tender and had great flavor even though I order med rare and it came out med well. Iâm not one to send food back but to much of my surprise a few bites into my meat the chef is standing over me with a perfectly cooked piece of meat apologizing he knew it was lil over cooked so he made another. Second piece was amazing and perfect to my liking. That gesture showed me that the chef took pride in his work and makes me confident that all this man makes he does with pride. Donât hesitate to visit this nice restaurant.

The Firefly Hollow Wood Drop is an American barrel aged red ale that has a nice Bourbon finish. It's made in CT. The barkeep was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is warm and modern. The wall art is very cool. Not a foodie stop, just the craft draft look-about. During the week and on Sunday they have good happy hour specials on apps and drinks.

First time here for a business lunch. Tried the Connecticut Lobster Roll. I wouldn't have minded paying the twenty dollars if it was good, but the Lobster meat was tasteless. I would try something else if I was to dine there again. Also, the restrooms need attention to cleanliness.

Good times, made locally. So we had this idea. That food can bring people together in a bunch of different ways. Neighbors with neighbors. Locals with local ingredients. And bourbon lovers with bourbons worth loving. In 2006, our idea became; b Restaurant
Went for lunch. Lovely hostess and server. The onion rings were like big crunchy bracelets served in a stack of four. Although we usually prefer our fried rings in shreds, these were pretty good. The special Mediterranean salad with a bed of tabbouleh, beets, tomatoes, a few veggies and a skimpy serving of shredded grilled beef was good, but not great, although the tabbouleh was the winner here. Cobb salad was well executed but bordered on run-of-the mill. Not exciting. The unsweetened ice teas were refilled without fuss and the waitperson was very personable. A very pleasant lunch. We'll have to go back for the burgers.

Vinted is a wonderful gem of a restaurant and bar located in the heart of West Hartford's shopping district. It's easy to access, and garage parking is available right around the corner (pay at a kiosk before exiting the garage). My family gathered for brunch last Sunday, and we had a wonderful time. There was a large group of us, so we made an advanced reservation, and we were seated immediately upon arrival. The brunch menu was diverse and delicious. Not one person was disappointed with their meal. It was my first experience of eggs Benedict with lobster - delicious! The service was excellent, with only minor hiccups, as anyone could expect on a very busy weekend afternoon. I don't have a single complaint, and I would definitely return again.

Took the family to celebrate Motherâs Day. Sat outside which was nice. Our waitress was very friendly & helped to explain how to order there (checklist style menu). Portions are small. Disappointing Bloody Mary served in Tom Collins glass. I like some spice, but this was very Spicey! Wished they had celery served in it. It was also Impossible to fit condiments (lemon & lime wedge) & peeled slice of cucumber in glass while drinking. Switched to beer after that. Fish tacos were good. Kids loved the steak & chicken rice bowls. The lettuce tuna tacos were just ok- I wouldnât order them again.

The burgers here are always good, and other food on the menu never disappoints. However, when serving draft beer, why not serve it in pints? Every beer, except one, comes in smaller glasses. The prices are pint prices, but the glasses are all different and smaller than a pint. My family loves this place, but I like a nice pint with my burgers (just one). Iâm not a big fan of the one that actually comes in a pint glass, so I end up disappointed about that when we go. I keep going back, though, so Iâll raise a (smaller than a) pint to the good food!

After the last very disappointing experience we decided to give it another try in hopes of improvement. To our surprise on Sunday night 6:00 the restaurant was half full which was never the case before. We had a nice table outside asked for drinks the waitress had no clue, the second waitress can still no clue. The first one came back asking for whatâs in it seriously at WH restaurant wow. The second waitress comes back asking if I had the drink there before and the answer is I sure did. Then I am told they do t have the ingredients to make it really no Barleyâs or Kabulâs. Oh, well I got a different concoction free of charge. We placed our order the food was good as always actually the calamari is much better then before. The hanger steak steak arrived to the table and was dropped at which point we were asked if we want another one. Need to say no more. Great service is hard to find but makes a difference even if the food is good.
