If you are looking for a fun place in metro west Boston that isnât going to break your bank Morseâs Tavern is your time pace. They recently expanded the bar and there are lots of screens with various sports playing. Morseâs boasts a nice on tap menu with specialty beers. The food menu is actually quite lengthy and everything we have tried is decent. Live bands playing rock are here regularly if you like that scene. For me always a good thing. Worth checking out if you find yourself in Natick.

It's a pretty typical irish pub, dark and inviting. But the surprise was the quality of the food. We went here based on prior reviews and were not disappointed. The servers were freindly , and the food was served promptly, hot and tasty. A little bit tight for seating and the place was packed. Would definently recommend, if your in the areaThanks for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review!

We were totally dazzled by the quality of the food. We each ordered the pork chop medium. And it came just so with mashed potatoes surrounding the chop and a bundle of broccolini along side. A good sized chop nicely grilled and so tasty. A can of Jacks Abby split between us and we were very happy. Bear in mind they take no reservations. Itâs also a family venue with young children and their parents all around us. Provided with drawing paper and crayons they were well contained. We arrived at 6:20 on a Saturday night and were seated by 6:45. Service was friendly and prompt and prices are reasonable. Conversation is challenging however we will return!

Love this place! The bar side was pretty noisy but they have a table area which was more quiet. Food was great! Really loved the appetizers and deserts. Teriyaki Cauliflower - tastyDeviled egg - awesome although you need to share this; too much to eat aloneSteak tips - nicely charredBurger - standard goodDessert - this fried dough with Nutella - really sinful but of course will never go wrongThe service was very good with the server coming to us every now and then to see if we need anything but also assuring us we can take our time. Overall a very pleasant experience!

We recently tried O'Hara's in Newton, MA. Drinks were good, food was average (salmon we had was overcooked and dry), service was good, and prices were reasonable. The atmosphere, friendly patrons, good bar service, and drinks are the things to bring you here. Thanks for the review! I am sorry to hear about the salmon, if there is every an issue with your meal, please always let us know while you are dining with us so we can be sure to make it right for you! We have given this restaurant a chance several times and this last time made our decision clear, never again! Service was spotty, food was okay but not great! Clam chowder was watery, too much bacon and the French dip was overloaded with horseradish sauce! Funny, we almost were going to get up and leave after looking at the menu but decided to give it one more shot! An expensive choice!

I took my father here for Fatherâs Day and arrived for a 345 reservation. The restaurant was almost empty. We waited about 30 minutes to see bread and ultimately, Probably about one hour before we saw food.. We went for 30 minutes without even having water being placed on the table. Despite the restaurant being empty, our water glasses were left unfilled. Even after I mentioned to the waitress, Neide, that the service was poor, it did not help the situation of unfilled water glasses, slow food delivery, inattentive service. Neide assured me that they were not shortstaffed and they had plenty of help. Yet, we continued to have unfilled water glasses, and slow service. The food was mediocre. We sat with our dirty plates in front of us, having finished eating, for another 20 minutes. We needed to ask to have them removed. When we got dessert, I asked for an extra plate, as I was sharing with my father. The extra plate never arrived, so after 10 min (warm bread pudding getting cold now) , I had to ask again. It took so long to get the check that we ended up going to the front desk and asked the manager Arielle, to get us the check and we would pay at the front. We explained to Arielle how poor the service had been, and she tried to justify that they had served over 400 people that day. However, when we were there, the restaurant was empty. And, there should never be justification for poor service. As an aside, there were two empty tables by the front door, that were filled with dirty , uncleared dishes. I paid the bill, without Arielle even offering any compensation (not that I wouldâve wanted it, but in the situation, I wouldâve expected it) and left. This restaurant needs a severe overhaul in management and Food Service if, on Fatherâs Day, they cannot anticipate the need for skilled wait staff. It is unfortunate that the poor service ruined my Fatherâs Day experience. There are so many better options is Wellesley where you can have attentive service, general manager that is responsive to customers and better food.
