Reviews on Bar food in Waikoloa, Hawaii, United States. The South Kohala coast of the island of Hawaii is home to Waikoloa Beach. Ancient Hawaiian history and culture, including petroglyphs believed to represent the heavens, stands side-by-side with ultra modern full-service resorts. Waikoloa is also home to fine examples of traditional Hawaiian aquaculture. In 1985, the University of Hawaii renovated the Anchialine ponds which today nuture a wide variety of sea life. Nearby Anaeho'omalu Bay has the Ku'uali'i and Kahapapa Fishponds.

Copper Bar is Mauna Kea Beach Hotel's iconic gathering place for friends and family to enjoy creative, casual cuisine based on abundance and sharing along with crafted cocktails, beers and wine. Of course, the centerpiece was and remains stunning sweeping
Nice restaurant and bar on the best hotel in South Kohala. Live music and hula performance. Beautiful view. Our favorite salad is the Butter Lettuce. My favorite dish is the Seared Hokaido Scallops. Hubbyâs favorite is the Paniolo Cattle Co. Grass Fed Burger. And our favorite dessert is the malasadas - a must try!

I did to go service to take back to the pool, and it was very fast. 5 minutes for a burger to go! Burger was very good. I watched the dolphins play while I waited. Expensive, but itâs a resort. Better than most resort food Iâve had. Will visit again!

outstanding! The Mai Tai was mixed to perfection. Once again the Kona Big Wave, one can not go wrong ordering. Beer pours were also perfect. We decided to order two HH Crab Cakes sooooooo delicious. Kat R was our server, she was very knowledgeable about the menu. We followed her suggestions and were not disappointed. We were never rushed, or felt like our lingering was a problem. We chose to eat inside, although the patio looked welcoming.

Impressed by the stylish Fairmony Orchid and an overall very good stay at this property we decided to attend their Thanksgiving buffet lunch.Booking was quite challenging since we got contradictory information from the Concierge, from the front desk or from their Royal Service regarding the availability of a table for two.Eventually we attended the Thanksgiving lunch only to discover there was barely one table out of five occupied. The place, the Luana Lounge, was NOT air conditionned with windows and doors wide open with an inside temperature not comfortable at all reaching the high 70's.It was getting so hot that some guests asked for a fan to be put beside their table. The seafood station was nicely decorated and could have been great but it was actually covered by flies finding the perfect occasion to lay eggs in the poke (crude tuna fish), the salmon slices, the oysters or other dishes even more the food was not properly refrigerated. The carving station served tasteless fatty turkey, beef or ham.The dessert station offered a poor selection of melted pastries due to the hot temperature and the absence of any cooling. The best part came with the check because even nighmares have a price. In our case it reached USD112 per person with taxes and tips but no wines.Mahalo for sharing your honest feedback. We are very sorry to hear that your Thanksgiving dining experience was not exceptional. As we are always looking for opportunities to grow, please be assured your valuable feedback in regards to our buffet will be shared with the appropriate leadership for review. We wanted a casual evening cocktails & dinner, only 3 miles from Mauna Kea BH, we decided on Seafood Bar & Grill. We arrived at 6pm, sat at the bar, although tables and outside veranda style seating were available, and we were waited on immediately. We started out with draft Heineken and a vodka martini while we reviewed the menu and specials. We decided on the island salad w/Cajun Opah which was huge & delicious plus an order of the cheese bread, and the lobster & crab pot pie which was AMAZING! On Tuesday evenings they have a Prime Rib special so we will return for that. They have a food & drink happy hour from 3-6pm & early-bird fish special at $30 from 5-6:30pm. The restaurant was packed until about 7pm. We ended with the mud pie & NY cheesecake w/strawberries. We were surprised at the quality seafood on the menu for the atmosphere which is a local bar/grill/tiki. Tons of workers and food was paced nicely. Our bill was $122 plus tip. (3 beers & 2 martinis). What a find!

We were staying at the hotel so it was convenient just to eat here rather than drive somewhere else. Don't be misled by the name "beach bar" and think it's just french fries and hot dogs. We had fish one evening with a very nice sauce, and a salad another evening, full of ingredients rather than simply greens. Mud pie was interesting!

It was very pleasant sitting here at night after the sunset (you can't really see the sunset unobstructed from here as there is a footpath in front of the restaurant and people stop there to take pictures). Cool breeze. Drinks were good. The hummus was excellent as were the burgers we enjoyed. The lilikoi sorbet was very good!Mahalo Maggie for dining with us at Hale Kai! We appreciate you sharing your experience! Warmest aloha, Tara Harrington, Director of Guest Experience

We always enjoy a typical high calorie Hawaiian breakfast here. They serve excellent Kau coffee at least when they make it strong enough to enhance its flavor that many consider superior to Kona. The coffee is from Chef Allenâs wifeâs farm. We recommend the house-made corned beef hash or the loco moco. And, you canât beat the view of the golf course either.

Tommy Bahama combines a tranquil environment and good food with an emphasis on hospitality to make for the perfect place to recharge or unwind while indulging in a unique dining experience. The experience is sure to feel like a getaway, whether youâre on
I double-checked with a guidebook, it said that this restaurant serves "consistently good food". Confirming this. Not only good food but also really good cocktails. There is not "hit or miss" here. Everything is really really good. My top award from the last trip to Hawaii island. Recommend crusted mahi mahi and mai tai cocktail.
