Known as one of the best Staines traditional pubs in the area, we are set in the heart of the picturesque, historic village of Church Street, Staines Upon Thames. The Bells pub in Staines is a hidden gem, plus being a stone throw away from the River Thame
Visited here for Sunday lunch, we were late and the kitchen closed in 10 minutes, but the staff were overly friendly, got us seated and promptly took our order for two Roast Beef Dinners. The food arrived promptly, large portions and a nice helping of meat. We asked for a couple of sauces and extra gravy, all of which arrived promptly. The food was super tasty, great roast potatoes and we were asked by numerous different people, if everything was ok. We didnât have room for dessert but were very impressed with the quality of food and service. Great pub, and we will definetly visit again if in the area.

Overlooking the beautiful green, we have sympathetically restored the gorgeous historic inn to create a warm, welcoming pub and brasserie. With plenty of nooks and crannies for leisurely lunches, family gatherings and quiet post-work pints with friends an
My girlfriend and I dined here last night for the second time. The menu is very varied and that little bit different from most restaurants. The service was prompt efficient and very friendly and the food excellent. Our experience was hugely enhanced by our charming and witty waiter , 'the man with the moustache' ( you know who you are!) who turned a routine dining experience into a memorable one. We shall be back!Thank you so much for this fab review! I'll pass your comments onto the 'charming' Clive. Kind regards,Sophie

We re-opened the Three Horseshoes back in 2009 and haven't looked back since! A mixture of old and new, the Three Horseshoes Laleham is now enjoying life sitting well and truly at the top of its community. We have created a smart and comfortable pub with
We wre a party of four, and were impressed with the overall finish of the place. Interesting menu and pleasant staff but the place does get very busy even midweek lunch time so booking is strongly advised.Three of or party really like the food, unfortunately one was not so happy saying the squid was rubbery and the bubble & squeak on the mains was bland.

Built around 1480, The Thatched Tavern was originally a farmhouse with a croft (a small farm). There was also a Blacksmiths forge at the back of the building where the kitchen hatch is now, and a wood store at the end of the bar.During the reign of Queen

The staff here are fantastic, so attentive and nothing is to much trouble, we came for lunch and had beetroot salads starter, fish and chips and salted caramel tart with praline macaroon. They do a wonderful elderflower with mint, lemon and lime drink which Is so refreshing. The Red Lion recently (March 2014) completed a £350,000 refurbishment and now offers a fantastic pub/restaurant option in the heart of Egham town centre. In addition to our two regular real ales (Harvey's, Sussex Best & Purity's Mad Goose)we offer an ever

Its hard to believe that Bar 163 has been in Egham since 1984. More than twenty years on, 163 looks and feels as fresh as ever and continues to attract a varied crowd of young and not so young, professionals and students alike. Originally a bar with fo
I used to live in Egham and Bar 163 was our favourite place to go - that was around 20 years ago. Met my friend their for lunch this week and was so delighted that the standard of food hadn't dropped - if anything it was better. The staff were excellent. Still the same quirky decor and vibe in there which I love. Well done, Bar 163 - I will be back very soon!!That's quite a gap, not sure how we've kept it up, although that could be why I'm feeling so exhausted...Great that you came back, and that you enjoyed it so much, thanks for the wonderful review, hope to see you sooner.

This pub sits within a residential area, so, it was harder to find. But, it was a real gem of a pub. It is a big pub with plenty of parking spaces, on-site and on the road. The staff are friendly and provided table services. We were a party of 8, from ordering to food being delivered, it was quick and appetising service. Food was so mouth-watering tasty and delicious. We sat out in the garden, which I imagine would be a party place at night, with all lights. It would be a good place for BBQ food and TV. is setup in the garden, with gazebo, heater and blankets. The pub is kids and family friendly. Love it a lot.Thank you for the review, since your visit we have updated the garden and think you would approve! it includes covered area and even more fairy lights. We look forward to hosting your next company meal out.

The Rose and Olive Branch is a pub restaurant that specialises in pies of all types, including vegetarian.
Went here for Christmas and decided on a repeat visit...just as good this time round. Excellent food, great portions and fast service. Must get around to trying their amazing looking pie menu which is extensive and includes both veg and vegan options, but something from the main menu always tempts me :)
