Vietri sul Mare ("Vietri on the Sea") is a town and comune in the province of Salerno, in the Campania region of southern Italy. It is situated just west of Salerno, separated from the Port of Salerno by only a harbour wall. The town is known for its polychrome ceramics, a tradition since at least the 15th century, and is considered to be the gateway to the Amalfi Coast.

I was drawn to this bar by the music....jazzy show tunes will get me every time! Once they had my attention from the street, I noticed the very unique and artsy design of the interior. There are lots of re-purposed furnishings and trippy art. I was awarded for my curiosity with excellent wine served by very friendly staff at an extremely reasonable price. Some English is spoken here and they are also very complimentary to foreigners who try to speak Italian. While we did not eat the food as we were full from an earlier meal, we were completely satisfied with our wine experience at Paria. Molto grazie tutti!

We arrived in Vietri sul Mare in mid-afternoon and after settling in our B&B across the street, we went out in search of food, stopping at the sidewalk location with umbrellas, tables, and even comfortable couches. We were told that they had finished serving lunch but could give us a "snack" and, of course, a glass of wine. The snack was a fabulous assortment of small bites, better than anything we imagined. The service was perfect and everything was reasonably priced. We enjoyed it so much, we went back another day.

We visited after our wonderful meal at Pignalosa Pizzeria. We wanted a Scottish wiskey and chesse cake. The owner and seevice were accommodating our unique tastes for Spyside wiskey. The owner speaks English well the waiter/server had a difficult time with English. we throughly enjoyed our time and this added an irish flare to our adventure. Dear Guest,thanking you for the choice you had and for leaving a review on tripadvisor, we wish you an early return, at our restaurant, hoping to be able to amaze you with other specialties besides the fact of finding the fabulous beers and various Irish and English sweets and Italians of the Amalfi Coast , we also have an Excellent Grilled Meat various dish specialties and a fabulous wide range of Gourmet sandwiches.Regards and see you soon.GF

After eating at Vido, no burger I eat will ever be as good! After 3 weeks touring Italy and eating our fair share in Italian specialties, we fancied something different. We had the 'Napoli' burgers with buffalo mozzarella, Sorrento tomatoes, courgettes, beef, lemon mayonnaise. It was the best burger I have ever eaten. It tasted so fresh and juicy, while still tasting like a 'burger'. The gentleman running the place was very friendly and helpful - bringing water for the dogs at our neighbour table, calming down a baby in a pram on the other table. Really friendly and attentive service. There is seating area outside, overlooking the walking street. I highly recommend this place and also would like to congratulate on the graphic layout of the menu card - representing the ingredients of the burgers. Thanks for an enjoyable evening!
