Find out what Bar restaurants to try in Venice. For centuries Venice has been defined by its otherworldly presence. Divided into six sestieri (districts), the city is split by the Grand Canal, snaking through Venice in a backwards “S” formation. Water here is a means of communication, connecting its parts as well as opening the city to the outside world. People move themselves and cargo by foot and boats of all types. A city of great contrasts, the strength and beauty of Venice are perpetually challenged by its great fragility – constant study, repair, resourcefulness, and vigilance maintain a very delicate balance here.

Visited twice. Great friendly service, although it is the choice or wine served with the most beautiful cicheti that make it.i would guess a dozen or so available by the glass, mostly local, and many biodynamic. Room for about twelve folk or so inside and four at the outside counter.

Welcome to Birreria Zanon, one of the liveliest places in Cannaregio, where locals and tourists blend to create a unique environment. This alehouse is popularly known for their fresh sandwiches and different selections of local made craft beers and wines.
Great local place for a drink and a bite to eat. Wonderful service, super friendly and welcoming. No table service but you want to meet these guys anyway. Tips welcome for the 'Trump assasination fund', love it. We're just visiting but it felt like our place in Venice.

We had made our way here for some cichetti on a Saturday night. Good accommodating staff and some very nice wine but the cichetti were really nothing special. The baccala was probably the best followed by the sardines soar and prawns soar (depleted review due to the prawn falling off the piece of bread)-shouldn't have bothered with the fried options.

The waitress was really hard working, but she was one of the best waitress that could english, and made sure every customer was happy even tho there was busy. i got a Ai formaggio (pizza with 4 different cheese and tomatosauce) i ordered ham and garlic oil, she forget to tell it to the chef, but when i have eaten 1 slice, she made sure that it got in the oven again for a few minutes. and it was the best pizza out of the 2 i got, when visiting.we got some chips free before the food and 3 shots for free to end of the night. if i ever is gonna come to venice, this would be my favorite place.

Before our trip to Venice, I'd read about this tea room and the vegan croissants they serve filled with avocado and tomato. It sounded good and they are, just delicious!!! So good we went back everyday .... Friendly service and lovely vegan Carrot and Ginger cake too!!

Heard music wafting through the alleyways of Venice and following our ears, we stumbled across this great little bar with an amazing live cover band playing an inspired, eclectic song list. Add to it, the bartender made one of the best old fashioneds I've ever tasted. I'll for sure be telling friends about this place for years to come.

We found this little gem whilst walking around. Stopped to have a much needed drink. Was very pleasant and not expensive. Had a nice selection of light bites that will definitely try next time passing :-)

Al Squero is the only Osteria in Venice exactly in front of the Ancient Squero of San Trovaso. There is no other place where appreciating from its window the construction or restoration of original Venetian gondolas. It is a cozy and comfortable place whe
All the positive Reviews of the Osteria Al Squero are true! Located alongside a small canal behind the Accademia; situated opposite an interesting Gondola building/repair yard and serving some of the tastiest Cicchetti in Venice. The staff are competent, friendly and patient with their constant stream of multilingual clients and they take time to explain what is on show in the glass cabinets. It can get very busy but if all the seats inside are taken, it is as pleasant to partake of the refreshments outside. We ALWAYS make our way to Al Squero for at least one lunch when we are in Venice. It is reasonably priced with interesting snacks and tasty house wines - though there's a wider selection for customers with a more refined palate.
