I was here with about 80 people from an organized road tour of the great Lincoln Highway. The food was good and the service attentive even though one of the entree choices - chicken breasts - wasnât served until others had finished their fish or pot roast. Watch the large gauge railroad go by in the ceiling tracks and the tv had loops appropriate to the real industrial revolution such as Ford and Edison. A fun place. Good food.

This is a microbrew in a yuppy town (block off main street/strip). Looks like was formerly a store front cuz of the large glass windows. They've at least 8-10 beers on top (that they make on premises) plus 1 or more local "guest" craft brew. They offer a large offering of wines (lots from Indianapolis, some from Cali) and ciders. They offer seasonal beer. In summer had a watermelon and now an Octoberfest one. The waitress was so attentive, informative and friendly! Was excited it was our first time and walked us thru everything. They have a page of apps, diff burgers, sandwiches of all types, some pasta entrees and at least 6 types of flatbreads. We had the mac and cheese cake ($7) for an app, small but tasty. Is a round cake and crusted on outside drizzled w/an aioli sauce. Hubby had the all American burger which had thick slice of ham on top of burger, cheese, lettuce, tomato, etc. $12 w/homemade chunky potato salad. I had the flatbread which had pork, ham, bacon, bleu cheese, mozzarella, sauce, etc. All food homemade and very tasty. Flatbread a bit pricey at $13 w/no side to accompany it. Have large bar and plenty of tables around the bar. They offer nachos, fried pickle pickles, spinach and artichoke dip and other apps. Everything was inviting looking and very tasty. We had the mini pretzels w/icing for dessert - $5. Those were prob my least fave (icing not that sweet and pretzels had beer/cheese taste? I'd def recommend coming here. It's prob hit or miss w/time. We got there Sat. night (Sweetest Day) about 5, and not crowded at all (seat yourself!), but getting more so later on. Had outdoor seating and even tho late Oct. still offered/available. Looked like they had arcade games. Didn't see any pub games like jenga, board games, like some other breweries offer. Def go try it!

The food and service are very good at Pikk's. We host a dinner there twice yearly and have great reviews from our business partners. The only negative for a group is that the banquet facility is in the basement and there are no restrooms or elevators, however, the meeting space is quite adequate and service is spectacular.

We ate dinner on a Friday night at Parea. There was no wait at 6:30 - unheard of at a downtown restaurant. Our server was very nice and the service was excellent. We started with calamari as an appetizer. It was ok - not the best we've ever had but not the worst either. I had the grouper with lemon rice soup. The soup was good and the grouper was good, too. Good beer selection. We may go back at some point in time but not too soon. Many other better choices in Valparaiso, in my opinion.

Recommended by friends and I'm so glad we went. All 4 of us cant wait to come back. Excellent service, appetizers, meals. My husband is super picky and he never complained once. Miracles do happen. We've tried all the higher ranked restaurants and we weren't impressed. This restaurant should be #1.

There are an ever increasing number of upscale burger places around, but very few take such care in higher quality beef combined with the accoutrements. I have tried many offerings and found each one to be superb. My current favorite is the Baton Rouge with butter lettuce, andouille sausage, shrimp, white cheddar, a remoulade topping and onions. It is a riot of flavor!....Their fries come in individual 'fry baskets' and are the best in town. There is an adequate wine list and a decent selection of craft beers. Weather permitting, there is a pleasant outdoor seating area. We have only one bad experience to report with a server who 'forgot' us when we were seated outside, but this is the exception. Most servers have been excellent. The inside seating is a bit insufficient for the quality of food....expect a wait during busy times. However, you'll find it well worth it.

A group of us went for a girls' night dinner on a weekday evening. We had a blast! The service was great and the food was AMAZING! We ordered a few appetizers to all try and we devoured them. We each had so much food for our dinner order we could barely put a dent in them. The dessert and drinks put it over the top! We cannot wait to go back! Not only do they have a great selection on the menu, but they have specials that frequently change with lots of new products to try.
