I understand that this is a "sports bar" but it is so loud that you can't even carry on a conversation at your table! The food was ok but I never knew exactly who my server was because of the disorder.

You usually can't go wrong when eating at Applebee's. Service was efficient and quick (even on Mother's day), and friendly (thank you Nicole M.) and the food very good. We had burgers and they were cooked to perfection. It's conveniently located right off I-75 and has ample parking. Stop by for lunch on your way from Atlanta to FL. You can pay at your table using a gadget. Interestingly it does not print a receipt, so the waitress still has to bring it to your table. Not really a time saver for either guest or waitress.

Authentic Southern Barbecue
Started our meal with the fried green tomatoes and it was great. We had the pulled pork and the beef brisket for the main course and both were excellent. Not a fancy restaurant but clean and nice, also has outdoor seating. Service was also good and prices reasonable. We will go back when in the area again!

Serving up pizza, tacos, nachos, and the famous blue plate with a Blue Berry Muffin! Enjoy a libation with! Not only do we offer a full bar and great wine list, but also a beer list with a 9 different beers on tap! The beer and wine list changes often, so
We had pizzas and salad. No complaints on the food. The wait staff was friendly, professional, and timely. however the manager or owner was Very unprofessional!!!! You should never yell at staff in a public area. Made customers uncomfortable.

Hidden gem in Valdosta! Located in a business park, Friends is a wonderful spot. Seating was outdoors on a covered patio. We had a delightful flatbread appetizer, followed by two wonderful entrees- a fettuccine The contained corn, mushrooms, bacon and chicken and a terrific pork tenderloin- 3 medallions of pork served with a blueberry mustard/pecan sauce- delicious. One of us had a delightful side of field peas, the other had the house twice baked potato. Our server, Emily, was a friendly young woman who was helpful, knowledgeable and a delight to deal with. All in all a terrific meal in a great setting!

Located in an older building that has been turned into a bar/restaurant this is the place for cold beer & burgers. Friendly and comfortable the burgers are excellent. The fries are hand cut and tasty. The onion sticks are battered - and go well with the fries. Service is friendly and prompt. There are about 5 craft brews on tap featured on the chalk board. Parking is behind the building, off of W.Hill Ave. A great spot to take a break from pounding up/down I-75.

Big Nick's. What can I say? Oxtail with a red wine reduction. Collards tender and juicy and savory. Macaroni and cheese with gobs of cheese dripping everywhere. Green beans with a hint of red pepper. Oh my goodness! This was a soul food jamboree! When we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by. She told us about the history of the restaurant, her favorite dishes, and of course the Thursday special, which was the oxtail. She then handed us over to our capable server, Alicia. She was attentive and make sure that our drinks were never empty. The owner's mother Ms. Louise even came over for a visit! Yes I am talking about big Nick's mother. She was equally friendly. I wish that we had room enough to sample the desserts, but that is the beauty of going to Big Nick's. There are always dishes to sample at a later time! I give Big Nick's a solid five out of five, two thumbs up, can't eat for another day amazing score. "Welcome to the family!" That is their motto when customers enter the restaurant, and they truly live up to that greeting! I hope you enjoy!

We (3 couples) arrived at 620 and had a wait of probably 30 mins which there were several empty tables. After being seated, it took an hour and a half for our food to arrive. We constantly had to ask for refills, silverware, checking status of food. We called manager to our table to make him aware of the situation and he never came back to let us know the status of our food. One entree finally came out, then after another 20 mins, 3 of our entrees arrived, then 10 mins later, the lady 2 entrees finally arrived. After all this trouble, we asked to speak with the manager one more time to give him a start to finish idea since our arrival to the restaurant. Instead of sincerely apologizing, he unfortunately made excuses for how busy the weekend has been and simply offered a âdiscountâ on our meals, when we should have had at least one entree removed from each of our bills. Unfortunately, I can say we will not be back for a repeat of the salty snapper.

When you are charged $12 for a cocktail, it would seem that you didn't have to go to the bar, teach the bartender how to make it, sit down and have it served. Could you not get a break on the price? The food was average. The waitress was good but come one, if you hire a bartender, get one that is trained!

We got the fish sandwich and shrimp poor boy. Good stuff. Great onion rings and hush puppies. Great place to stop on a road trip to florida.
