We arrived to the hotel Friday night. The bistro was busy. We ordered n y steak and chicken cordon blue. Minimal flavor. Service was good, except our waitress arrived rubbing smelly lotion on her hands and that over powered the smells of the meal.

We enjoyed the historic building and the atmosphere. They have a real nice bar and also a very good menu. We both enjoyed the fish and chips.
Went there because the group decided to go. TVs blaring, sports fans screaming, etc. Surely no hint of sophistication here. So why the "excellent rating"? The great friendliness and service of the person who had to cater to fifteen+ people's needs, including fifteen+ separate payments. He remained cheerful throughout, and the group definitely used every wait-staff skill he had.

Place might not look like much from outside, but inside you'll enjoy multiple bars, individual tables, semi-private lounges; all with clear access and view of TV panels to embrace your favorite team.Very good friendly ambiance, paired with a plentiful selection of your favorite poison. And the food, well, also surprisingly good for a sport pub / bar.Certainly not a high-end destination, but most certainly a quite welcoming place for respectful and healthy fun with friends and/or couples.

Not crowded but extremely inattentive service. Moldy steak sandwich was replaced but they took FOREVER. No staff in sight and we thought our server had to be hiding hoping we'd just leave! Everyone else had leisurely finished and were ready to go, by the time the replacement sandwich arrived. The rest of the meals were on the low side of mediocre and I've already been negative enough in this review so no need to elaborate about tough meat. It can't always be this bad, but on this afternoon, it certainly was! OH - the décor was beautiful!

Quick, clean, served fast, lots of happy workers, nice portions, and great food! They were very accommodating to our food allergy! Choices allowed for a great lite lunch or full dinner. Lots of choices. Managed well!

Food is average! Beer is cold! Service was very slow! We ordered two dinners and a to go order. The to go order came in 5 minutes. The two dinners took 30 minutes? Makes no sense.

Showed up on a Friday about 8:00pm without reservations. Had to wait about half an hour, but they have a nice area for this and we enjoyed a glass of wine while doing so. Started with the bread plate which was well received. Cheeses, bread, olive oil & basalmic vinegar. It hit the spot. 3 out of 4 in the group ordered the prime rib, but they were out. All got the filets. They were cooked to order, and were pretty good but I like more of a char on a steak and wasnât that fond of the wood smoke flavor. The chimichurri sauce helped. The drinks, wine, and dessert were great. The thin cut fries were cold and worthless. Skip them for a baked potato. The service was pretty good. Will return when in town but might try one of their burgers or a French dip.
