Went in just for a look and to take some photos. The Bar Manager (Boots) and the customers were so friendly we stayed for a drink. Oldest bar in Texarkana and would have to be one of the friendliest if not the friendliest anywhere! Boots made me the best margarita!!

Tusks did a fantastic job hosting our high school reunion. The food was good, the staff was attentive and friendly, and they accommodated our group with no hassles. I would highly recommend you check this place out for any group function for groups between 50 and 150 people.

I was there on the first day of new owners so some things were a little out of whack, such as liquor and beer inventory. I had 2 coors light {not my brand} and a fried shrimp and onion ring platter and it was very good. The beers were only $2, and the platter was $12, I thought that was pretty good for a hotel bar.

My coworker took me to lunch here, and I really loved this place. Itâs off the beaten path, and itâs a really neat place. Our service was quick, the server was super friendly, and the food was hot and delicious. Iâll definitely return soon!

Driving through the area and the word icehouse caught our attention. What an interesting place and delightful staff. The beer was ice cold and the burgers were juicy!! We had the fried squash as a side order and it was delicious. A really fun place to have a beer and enjoy some history.

Stopped in the way home from Dallas with friends. Atmosphere is very nice and clean. Servers were very nice, friendly and attentive. Food was well presented and very good tasting. Recommend stopping in.

I had the salmon salad The salmon was a bit over cooked, the toast hard as a rock, but otherwise okay. My wife had the ahi tuna. It was medium rare as ordered, but the quality of ahi substandard and the roll dry. The presentation of both meals was attractive and the wait staff attentive. They have great reviews and a nice crowd last night so perhaps this was an off night. No dessert. We thought it best to save those calories for a better stop.
