The Bowls club is an excellent place to have lunch on Tamborine Mountain. The service is fast and staff cheerful and helpful. The dishes we ordered were excellent and well presented. Highly recommended for a good club lunch.

You are rather spoilt for choice when it comes to cafes and restaurants in this area. The Monkey Tree Restaurant is unassuming but serves up a great bistro meal. The lemon pepper calamari was outstanding as was the service and the atmosphere. The meals were served quickly but you were under no rush. Great coffee finished off a relaxed and enjoyable lunch.

Attended with friends from overseas. Orded and paid for the food which was not cheap but given the location we accepted. Four different meals all of them tastless. We advised the staff who said we will tell the chef... never offered an apology or even free cup of coffee. When we were leaving they stopped us and said we had to pay for the drinks... we advised we paid when we ordered...but it took ages for them to check the account to realise we had paid...again no appology.... could not recommend this place for food or manners.

The Manor (circa 1882) is one of the oldest Manor Hotels in SE Queensland (previously known as Bungunyah Manor). Set amid 2 acres of lush gardens on one of the highest points of spectacular Tamborine Mountain, this is truly a unique location to enjoy rest
Recommended by our Airbnb as cheap and enjoyable meals. We had tasty salmon pasta and bacon fettuccine for just $10 each. We enjoyed the live entertainment and the cosy atmosphere. Plenty of parking, fast service and warm room. Would definitely go back if in the area again.

We had an enjoyable Sunday lunch (pot pie, fish 'n' chips, chicken parmy) with fantastic views. There are plenty of tables inside and out with awesome views of the scenic rim. Service was fast for a busy bistro, with the service at the bar being slower. The 2 St. Bernards are a draw card, but sleeping when we visited. Would visit again for lunch.

Dropped in to the Fortitude Brewery for lunch on a Monday. The brewery has a wide selection of beers plus a cheese shop next door. Sadly the stout was not available and after a busy weekend the ingredients for a cheese platter were quite limited. Ginger beer was delicious and we enjoyed the beer sampler. Good range of pizzas. We had the Margarita and it was great. They have live music on weekends so that would be the best time to visit.

We had a great meal here on the Friday night and was a bit disappointed with the quality of food on the Saturday night. Different chefs maybe. The wait & bar staff are fantastic. We ended up sitting inside Saturday, live music started while waiting for our meals to arrive. The sound from across the room was not good. People close to them were clapping and we were not enjoying it. It was hard to tell what they were singing. I feel the equipment was inadequate. We preferred the outdoor eating area. I would come again because it was still enjoyable.
