Went here for a flight of beers. Did not eat here. They have a good mix of beers but the flight was pretty expensive 4 for $15. Nice bar.

Pretty much one of the few restaurants where most of the people from Barrington hang at. So if youâre from here, youâll prob run into someone you know.Got a dozen oysters along with a bottle of red wine. Oysters were alright, slightly gritty. Also got the salmon which was pretty good, although not worth 26$ for that tiny piece. Service was average though they allowed us to stay late. Overall good experience, slightly overpriced though.

This newly renovated restaurant is very pretty inside and the view is outstanding. But the menu is very limited and the dishes are overpriced. The lobster rolls are $28. They come with a mouthful of cole slaw and some (very good) french fires.I was there with a group of 8 people.Everyone was satisfied what they ordered. But for the price, we expected more.

Waterfront dining with stunning views and great food to match!
Whether you sit inside or outside, the view is lovely -- the restaurant is right on the river. We chose outside... 4 people... 4 different dishes... I had a starter -- Roasted Pear Salad with Blue Cheese, walnuts and a light champagne dressing. Crab cakes with a remoulade drizzle were very tasty, the lobster roll was great - BIG chunks of fresh lobster meat, a hearty bowl of New England clam chowder, Caesar salad with chicken.... Oh yeah, and a side of "classic" NE fries with ketchup on the side. THEY were yummy. Each dish was reported as very satisfying. Then two of us had the creme brulee with a perfect caramelized "glaze."Service was prompt, attentive and friendly. There is plenty of parking! The only issue I had was, for a restaurant of its size, it had one single person bathroom. So there was a wait. I can't imagine how that works when it gets busy. Would I go back? Absolutely!Thank you Ann for the nice review it is much appreciated! Just and FYI that we also have upstairs bathrooms as well.Hope to see you soon!Russell

My partners and I attended last Saturday for dinner. The service was inviting and friendly. Free refills of iced tea were a plus. Scallops are served with delicate sauces of wine, broth, cream, and spices. Fried whole belly clams are a must. Crabcake presentation was ample and generous, complete with greens and a mini salad. Sauce for the crabcake was scrumptious. The prime rib from the surf and turf combination was extraordinary.Ambient noise is loud. Acoustics are not perfect.

Went to Square Peg after this restaurant was recommenced to us by many friends. We took our four kids for lunch on September 8th. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and we were really looking forward to it. Our bad experience started with the hostess. She was unwelcoming and mostly silent. I was confused why the restaurant even had her there as she said virtually nothing to us. Six people just walked into your restaurant and are standing in front of you waiting for a table and not even a âhello, how are you doing today?â came from her mouth. The waitress who came to our table first was pleasant enough. Took our drink order and brought out some fried pickles. We ordered our entrees and were mostly happy at that point. But then our food never arrived. And the waitress never checked on us for drink refills or to provide any updates on our food. It was like the twilight zone. My kids were behaving really well and I finally had to walk them down the street as they were getting anxious and were hungry. Three separate walks later and over 60 minutes of wait time and still no food or updates. Finally my wife and I both went up to the register near the kitchen to inquire about our food and was told it would not be that much longer. At that point the kids were not interested in sitting down and we were past hungry, more upset at this point. It would have been a mildly better experience had the waitress checked on us once in an hour, but that didnât happen. We paid for what drinks and food we consumed and politely left the restaurant. I canât imagine that this place will stay in business as anything more than a bar with experiences like this one. Itâs too bad as itâs a pretty neat place in a cool location. I hope the owners are made aware of their service issues so they can improve. We, however, wonât be going back.

To date...and I cannot WAIT to go back again...CHOMP has no compare! I am quite fussy about my food (particularly on those rare occasions when I eat meat - about thrice yearly), and I have tried several different burger places touted as "some of the best all-around", and...I wasn't overly impressed at the other places. Anyway...my boyfriend & I had heard good things about this place, so we decided to drive out to Warren and check it out ourselves. The place IS tiny; we got there early enough to not have to wait for a seat. It was too chilly to want to eat outside, where it's far roomier. They do take special requests; substitutions are allowed. The chef hand-prepares every order individually; nothing is pre-made ahead; all made "from scratch", and cooked to utter perfection! I had them "build" me a bacon, gouda, mushroom, onion, avocado burger that was to DIE for. I mean, to LIVE for! I asked for a small mixed greens salad on the side, and it was precisely that: wonderfully healthy mixed greens! I cannot wait to return, ideally before this month is out. I'd give this place 6 stars, but 5 is the maximum offered. CHOMP Kitchen & Drinks offers top-notch burgers!

Excellent service, excellent food, excellent atmosphere...what more could you want? My daughter and I had superb fish sandwiches. I don't typically use tartar sauce but this place has the most unusual and delicious that I've ever tasted! Her husband had the club and all were fabulous. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable with both the food and the beer selections. And the place is just beautiful as well. I highly recommend a visit to The Aviary!

This is a very laid back casual dining experience, but our meal tonight was by far the best we've had on this trip (and we are 3 weeks into it). The atmosphere is modern and the restaurant is very well decorated. The service was excellent and our server, Joy, was delightful and very attentive. Wife and I both had the Chicken Piccata and split a bottle of Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc. The Chicken Piccata was superb. A very light lemon sauce with capers and diced tomatoes over rice noodles. The chicken breast was butterflied to give it maximum exposure to the seasoning and sauce flavors. We enjoyed it so much, we are planning to dine there tomorrow night and try something different.Hello Sally,I am so very pleased that you enjoyed both your meal and the service that Joy provided. I am going to make sure that she is recognized for a job well done.I appreciate your compliments and i hope you enjoyed your next visit as well.
