We are a family run restaurant offering delicious home cooked food with friendly service, we are situated close to the Robert the Bruce heritage centre. We look forward to serving you soon!
We were driving to northern Scotland and decided to stop at this restaurant. We were told immediately on arrival you must have a reservation to eat here although the entire bar area was unoccupied. Finally they relented and allowed the 6 of us to eat in the bar area. Service and food was very goodThank you for your review, however it is not the case that a booking has to be made before you can dine in our restaurant. During busy times ie Christmas holidays, Easter, motherâs day and at weekends we recommend you book to save disappointment, however a lot of our customers arrive without a booking. I am happy to hear you enjoyed your meal with us and we hope you enjoy your trip.

Fabulous pizza & so accommodating - 8 guys dropped in, ordered 8 pizzas, 1 bottle of wine and 6 beer flights - everything was perfect, no mistakes. The Smokey Joe was possibly the best pizza outside of Rome, perfection on a plate, crispy base, just right amount of topping, well done BD..

Everyone loves a good Irish bar, but what kind of Irish bar? Is it the Ireland of the Pogues, Sinead O'Connor and the Boomtown Rats? Is it the Ireland of Yeats, Shaw and Joyce? Or is it the Ireland of sporting prowess on the rugby field? Whatever your ans

An award winning restaurant situated in the green and pleasant village of Causewayhead in Stirling, The Birds and The Bees is a dining room built around a passion for food. Located in an old one story whitewashed farmstead, The Birds and The Bees proudly
We rediscovered the Birds and Bees following our sons Wedding here at the beginning of September. We were very impressed with the venue and the food so we came back for dinner last week. We were not disappointed. Excellent food, excellent service in a relaxed atmosphere. It can get very busy so we would recommend that you book to avoid disappointment. Highly recommended.

Traditional Scottish Pub sometimes referred to as Stirling's hidden gem. Built in the early 1700 Nicky-Tams Bar & Bothy is steeped in history. The bar was once a bank and converted to a pub in 1718 by the Weavers Incorporation. Nicky-Tams is now a popular
We love Nicky Tams! Great historic bar with a friendly staff, comfortable seating and atmosphere aplenty. Didn't eat here, but the smells from the upstairs kitchen were heavenly, as I ventured to the lovely ladies room. The gents said he boys restroom was a quirky adventure.Always enjoy stopping into Nicky Tams. So will you!

This is perfectly situated below Stirling castle. We went on the way down after visiting the castle and were after a good pub lunch to satisfy our bellies. It didnât disappoint. Great selection of food on offer, friendly and helpful staff and served quickly. We ordered the steak pie and chips which was cooked beautifully. Prices are great value, I would say slightly less than a standard pub lunch price.Overall very happy, I would go back if I visited Stirling again.

A couple of days ago a few friends and I decided to pass a damp afternoon by going out for lunch. We decided on the Gargunnock Inn and were not disappointed. A little bit out of the way off the Dumbarton Road from Stirling, the Inn is a real âolde worlde â type pub restaurant with a small but interesting menu. My fish and chips was delicious and others claimed that the steak & ale pie was up with the best. Apple crumble and ice cream to follow was superb and plentiful. Service by waitress was also quick, efficient and friendly. None of the seven of us went home even remotely hungry! I am sure we will be back before long.

We opted to sit outside in the beer garden. Beautiful countryside view with clothes blowing in tind on a clothes line. Dogs were allowed and enjoyed watching some Border Collies play. We had local tap beer, and a wonderful soft baked cheeze appitizer, my husband had roast beef and potatoes which I shared as it was a large portion. The root vegetables were very good, as was my local style salad. Would love to return.

Welcoming, friendly and attentive staff in ambient surroundings. On our most recent visit we were visiting with friends for Sunday Lunch (13.00) - disappointingly and strangely two (out of three|) main courses offered as daily specials were no longer available? The food we ordered was however tasty and well presented. Would still recommend this restaurant.
