This was a great place to go as a family. The food was outstanding. The service was wonderful, friendly and helpful with suggestions. A nice variety of beverage choices as well. OUTSTANDING hush puppies! We ended a long weekend of visiting with family and this was a great choice. Lots of choices for everyone. Easy to converse with everyone at our table.

The new owners of Rusty Hooks Dockside Grill are excited to open our doors to the public. The restaurant located in the South Harbour Village Marina overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway. We encourage our guests to kick back, enjoy the view, and hit the pau
This is the restaurant formerly known as the Dead End Saloon, located at the marina at the end of Fish Factory Road, with a view of the intercoastal waterway. Having frequented the previous establishment, we are pleased that the restaurant has been reopened for several months under new ownership with a new name. A number of changes have been made: a new entry heading directly into the dining area, rather than through the bar. The walls of the dining area have been decorated more tastefully and it is quieter with the doors shut to the bar. Dinner conversations are easier now. The food is similar, though the prices are a bit higher. Fish and Chips, Crab Cakes, mussels are our favorite choices.Thank you, Fred! We are glad you enjoy the changes and look forward to seeing you during your next visit. You really can't go wrong with any of those choices. My favorite is the blackened Mahi tacos - give them a try, and let me know what you think.

Great burger just how I like it grilled! We just returned from Alberta Canada where by law they cook their burgers well, better known as a hockey puck! Blue Cow Grilleâs was juicy and delicious. Friendly attentive service.

Oyster pub specializing in coastal Southern cooking with a wide array of hard-to-get bourbons, delicious wines, and craft beers in scenic Southport!
I can't say enough good things about this place! The oysters were great and fresh. We did an array of appetizers and oysters. Lobster rangoons are made fresh daily! The service was top notch as well! Brody was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He is a total asset to this restaurant! Ally and Ryan were also very pleasant and accommodating. We made it a point to visit Moore Street Oyster Bar twice in our week in the Carolina's because it's just that great!!! We will be back!

This is a restaurant located on the water. For the best experience, sit outside and enjoy the view! The food and service are excellent. I especially enjoyed the ambience of the outside dining. The food is really fresh and incredible. Most of the seafood is local and tastes fresh and has a great presentation. The clam chowder is some of the best I've had.

First time trying this place and wonât be back. I expected so much more after reading the glowing reviews and then we were quite disappointed. They were full and busy, but I wouldnât actually consider that a compliment to the place as I usually would. There is only about 6 tables for the whole restaurant and two of them being outside. Ofcourse, not counting the small bar area.A family member called first to inquire how busy they were and explained whoever answered the phone was quite rude and uninviting with curt one word answers.Hi, are yâall really busy right now.She replied, yes.Do you have a wait for a table? She replied, yes.Okay, how long is the wait? She replied, 15 minutes. As each inquiry was made she seemed more disgusted and couldnât be bothered. She could have replied with the first question. âWe are currently full and have a 15 minute waitâ. Anyway, we should have just went somewhere else, but we had not tried this place yet on one of our previous Southport visits and passed it off as someone having a bad day answered the phone. The place is so small and we often caught the staff and assuming older manager lady talking negatively about the guests. A lot of talk about wanting the night to be over...The food was just average, so between the the lady that answered the phone who couldnât be bothered to encourage a family to come in for a great experience and the unprofessional atmosphere, I would say pass. If you are a serious beer drinker you may enjoy your experience more, but as a friendly family restaurant, not impressed.
