Steiners has an attractive bar which was popular with locals. Some regulars appeared to have their designated chairs at the bar. Drinks are served at the bar by the friendly barternder. Food is ordered at a separate window and delivered to your seat. The tavern seems a little blue collar but we retired professionals enjoyed the drinks and the ambiance. Draft beer between $4 and $5 a pint when we were there.

After spa treatments, we sat up at the bar and had light food and fabulous wine. Our experience at 38 North Lounge was enhanced by our delightful bartender , Walter. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was very knowledgeable about wine and food choices. Walter was great as was the food and wine. A âgo toâspot if you are in Sonoma! And look for Walter!Dear Peggy,Thank you for your kind words. I am glad you enjoyed the food and service. I agree, Walter is fabulous. I will pass this on to him and share with our team. Iâve been wanting to try this restaurant. I have fond memories of great food and ambiance when it was Little Switzerland. My chicken sandwich was overcooked and flavorless. The waitress was unpleasant. We were charged a 20% service charge for a party of 6? I was going to order food to take home for a friend but the waitress never asked if we wanted anything else. There are so many better places in this valley to enjoy a meal.

A foodtruck that grew up into a very good restaurant. Always get the Tri Tip Bites for and appitizer. Excellant menu focused on an ecclectic southern twist. Love the gnocchi with the chicken meatballs. Good bar with unique cocktails, local wines, and draft beer. Don't miss the beignets. Wine country comfort food.

We attended the Sonoma International Film Festival after-party here and had a blast! Great live music, great service and all the libations you would expect from a world class Irish pub!

We were wandering around the square in Sonoma and decided to try this for lunch. We were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Very relaxed atmosphere. Good variety of menu options. Had the butternut tortelloni and the crab ravioli and both were excellent. Good size portions. Our server, Jess, checked on us regularly. Very good experience.

Hopmonk fancies its outdoors seating area a "beer garden". Well, sort of. It's not quite a German style beer garten - but it is a pleasant outdoors area nonetheless. We stopped in for lunch one sunny afternoon and sat outside on the elevated porch under some shade. The draught beer menu is long and varied (as I'd expected) and I had, first, a tasty brown ale followed by a nitro-fired Carmel brown ale. Both were outstanding. The food menu was skewed towards "pub style" and I chose the SouthWest chicken salad. It was very good and I was satisfied.

The food was fantastic, but outside was empty (inside busier)...very slow.....They also only have half chicken as do many restaurants in Napa...a waste, to end up throwing in the garbage. For a town so interested in paper straws and recycling...why would they want food tossed into waste.
