Was waiting to be seated for about 10 minutes this afternoon. I appreciate the waitress was probably busy she saw us many times and did not acknowledge us. We eventually took seats ourselves. When we ordered food she forgot to give us our drinks. I went to the bar to remind her so she just slung them uon the table. We remained polite throughout. I don't mind mistakes but politeness and friendliness goes a long way. The lady owner was friendly and helpful though. We won't be back for the rest of the weekend.

The Beach Bar caters for an eclectic mix of visitors all year round. When you walk through the door, you will feel you are in a place that has not changed much over the centuries, yet it has something to suit all tastes. From the thirsty surfers just off
Drove miles to get here and we were really disappointed. First we were told they were fully booked and we asked could we sit at the bar. We then got a table in the âfunction roomâ part of the pub, which was half empty for our whole meal. So, they were not actually fully booked. Both got steak sambo. I got mine medium and my partner got well done. They were both cooked the same in the end.... both fatty and rubbery. The vine cherry tomatoes were just regular cherry tomatoes, and there was no dressing. I hate when a simple dish like a steak sandwich isnât done well, itâs so easy to get it right!Giving 1 star for the avocado mayo and the fries.

Great Vibe, Exellent Value, Brilliant Food.Home made food and great service just like it used to be.
Had the absolute pleasure of having 3 great nights in the Swagman this week, what a great vibe in here, friendly staff, the food is to die for, great music line up.Thurs night saw a fantastic bluegrass style band who absolutely rocked the house, we ate here both Fri and last night, gorgeous wings (gigantic portion big enough for 2 or 3 to share), tender steaks, and last night a delicious pizza with black pudding & feta cheese..... Divine Food is well priced too. I'll be back in Sligo abd will certainly be back in the Swagman Bar.

Walking off Sligo main shopping street into Hargadons is like taking a step back in time, as its delightful and charismatic interior is almost the same as when it first opened. The present building situated at 4 & 5 OâConnell Street, Sligo was built in 18
Had this place recommended to us by our hotel and it did not disappoint. A traditional pub that used to be a store, lots of things to look at! Comfortable seating (even though we were a large party of seven). Friendly service and wonderful food. The burger is over the top good!. Reasonably priced too!!

Next door to the Strandhill Hotel & Suites and recommended by the reception, good choice and very busy so book ahead in high season. we waited for 30 minutes in their cosy excellent bar before being seated. The food was excellent especially the spicy deep fried chicken wings a tip from a guy whilst in the bar.

Visited here for an evening meal at 6.30 but they only had a pizza menu on offer for food. Bar was busy and the pizza in fairness was lovely. They offered a 9â gluten free base for intolerances but couldnât guarantee that there wouldnt be cross contamination. Thankfully it was only an intolerance and not full coeliacs. There was family with us that wouldnât normally be people who eat pizza but they had no other choice. It would have been nice to have some evening bar options for people who donât eat pizza.

I stayed at 'The Driftwood' last night, in Room 5, it's a funky room which has been very tastefully decorated. I loved the big brown chairs, bed, digital radio and the bathroom is class.I had lunch in the restaurant which was great and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The views from this restaurant are stunning and Rosses Point is a wonderful place to visit. I have travelled a fair bit around the globe and I've stayed in some wonderful places but I cant recommend this place highly enough. I'll definitely be back.
