One of the better bars in the area, we sat outside some evenings for an early drink before moving on. Good draft beer, served to you, if you sit outside. Plenty to see if you like to people watch.Its nice to have a drink in place where you are not surrounded by diners, which is the case in most of the other so called bars in the area. Reasonable prices too.

Not really impressed with this place. Called in lunchtime for a simple light snack. The restaurant wasn't busy at all and the service seemed lazy. After a ten minute wait I ordered a large beer a bottle of coke and a toastie, simple enough . I queried the large beer when it arrived and was told 0.4l is a large beer and with the head on it was probably no more than half a pint The toastie we ordered was pathetic and taste less. Total bill came to 15 euros absolute tourist rip off . AVOID.Dear Alan BYour comment is not true about our prices.Coke costs 2.80,large beer 3.50 and toast sandwich 4.30.All our prices are in our menu.Anyway we are apologize and we wait for you in our restaurant.RegardsArchontiko Restaurant

We should have taken more notice of the fact that there was only 1 other table of people when we were seated.The guy who took our order was very unfriendly to start with.We ordered 2 chicken souvlaki,1 lamb souvlaki and 1 burger.The food came quite quickly,the burger was lovely but all the souvlakis were covered in a mustard sauce that was not stated on the menu.i wiped my sauce off and ate it,it was fine as were the chips,pitta bread and salad but the other 2 souvlakis were sent back and apparently freshly made but it tasted like the sauce had been washed off,the meat was covered in herbs and just recooked,quite disgusting.The waiting staff were not interested,they were standing around chatting to each other.No wonder they were empty.

Visited for a late brunch. We both had club sandwiches which were very generous in portion size, plus a local coffee and an English tea. Very friendly service. We are based in Troulos, 20 or so minutes away, and we found the prices very reasonable indeed for such a prime location.Have made a note, we will be back for our next visit into Town. Thoroughly recommended.

Our 7th trip to Skiathos and another amazing visit to Fresh.Staff looked after us and our 2 year old daughter each time we popped in.Great breakfast and great food, I would recommend the Moussaka.

The Bourtzi by the old harbour of Skiathos is a very conspicuous geographical feature. A peninsula, which once had fortifications on it, of which not much can be seen anymore. The Greek word 'Bourtzi' is derived from the Turco-Arabic word 'burc' for tower. In Greece there are about eight Bourtzi known, the most famous by far, being the one by Nauplia. Always small forts on an islet or peninsula close to the shore.When people go to the Bourtzi of Skiathos today, it is mainly to visit the Café there. One sits on folding chairs under umbrellas and Aleppo Pines with views out to the sea, to Evia and to the Skiathos coast. A great time to come here is at sunset.My wife and me liked to pass by here for a pre-dinner drink like an EZA draught beer in a 4dl glass or a glass with stem of their quite good white house wine. Staff was always very friendly. A bit too loud for us was the international background music.

Absolutely beautiful food, great staff and excellent location.Without doubt the best Kleftiko and Moussaka on the island. Starters, mains and drinks all without fault, thank you ! Nikos and Theo are really great so helpful and friendly, you canât help but feel welcome. All the food is fresh and homemade and the best of all the harbour front restaurants. Very good price and incredible choice of food and drinks. Lovely place and lovely people
