This place is a must to visit if you come to Mooloolaba. Pour your own drink if you wish, food is delicious and grab yourself a board game if you want. We played giant connect four, was so much fun.The staff are pretty friendly and helpful too

Attended a small family wedding here and due to the room being very loud and crowded I asked if there was somewhere quiet to feed my three month old baby, as in aware in other similar venues there can be small lounge areas with couches. I was advised that this establishment didnât have a lounge are (which was absolutely fine) but I was then told if Iâm more than welcome to used the disabled toilet....what the actual!! So definitely NOT family friendly in my eyes!

Went for Dinner. Two quite good Meals, BUT, One terrible Meal. At $28.50 for the Fisherman's Catch it was disgusting. Small Salad and Chips, AND, ONE supposed Scallop. Three Small Crumbed Prawns ,Three Rings of dead set PACKET Calamari. They were exactly the same size as each other and out of a packet. Also a piece of Fish, and who knows what that was. A terrible meal, AND, at $28.50.It is interesting that no Chef, or Owner ever reply to any Reviews. Lost for words.If you look at the reviews there is a very high percentage that think this Tavern is only Average, OR Worse.On the good side the Service was very good, and the Staff were very friendly, and very nice.

The food was delicious and portions generous. The only negative was the service was quite slow and when we arrived there was only one other table occupied. However the waitress did apologise for the long wait time. What I really like about this cafe is they have a seperate menu for gluten free customers. I would go back but I would make sure I have plenty of time.

A great little corner hotel across the road from the beach. Just casual enough. Good food and great service. Drinks at usual bar prices and plenty of choice on menu, although seafood was a specialty for us!Very friendly and welcoming service. Indoor and outdoor settings. We stopped by for dinner but would go back anytime.

We just walked in and the staff welcomed us in straight away needed a table for nine people . They were only to happy to help just pushed tables together. Food was great very good prices for food and alcohol and great spot as well.We will be back great steak and ribs and very good cocktails and great staff

Family, and kids had Dinner. Kids meals plain, Seafood Basket, and a Steak very good.But Caesar Salad with Callimari was very disappointing. Mixed Leaves (Road Weed) should have been Cos Lettuce, the only way that type of Salad should be served. It was smothered in a Mayo and that also let it down.Still can't give a better rating over all these years.(Try the Kawana Tavern for Calimari) .Hi Elsie, Gee that's really disappointing that you didn't feel you received our best when you dined with us.
