Lunched there with friends. Very surprised how much we loved the burgers. Very good reputation in town for lunch, dinner and nightlife. A little on the casual side, but then this is Ocala.

We're a local restaurant and sports bar located on SE 17th Street at the intersection of SE 3rd Avenue, in Churchill Square, right in front of Publix. Come hang out, watch sports, be yourself and enjoy the company of others without breaking the bank. We a
My family of four went there on a Tuesday evening for their kids eat free special. We were seated at a booth near the bar which would have been fine except there was a highly intoxicated man about 5 feet away from our table who was super loud and using really foul language. I'm not exaggerating in saying that he used multiple curse words in each and every sentence. In my opinion, the restaurant staff failed by not addressing his vulgarity and by continuing to serve him knowing that they were partially responsible for putting a drunk driver out on the road. It was a spectacle and definitely took away from our meal as I had to try to distract my children so they wouldn't hear what he was saying.Putting this negative part of the experience aside, everything else was good. The menu is huge and reasonably priced. Our server was attentive and efficient, and the food was cooked well and flavorful. Overall, this restaurant is a good choice for adults, but I would use caution if bringing children here and specifically ask for a table far away from the bar.Oh no, TravelersM2M! This little hidden gem tucked in downtown Ocala is amazing! First their food is very unique and NOT generic, which is a breath of fresh air! They have a good selection of craft beer and there is a great atmosphere.Bathrooms are clean and the bartenders were awesome. One of the drunk patrons actually whistled (like he was calling a dog) to the bartender. The bartender was so patient and calm with the guy. I can't say I would have done the same! I would definitely return!

I have hard about this place for years and finally went. They have a really extensive menu. I went with a friend and we were both very happy with our meals. The food was really good and the portions were huge. I will visit again.

Mojoâs is fast becoming one of the special restaurants in the central Florida area and it started right here in Ocala. The bar makes amazing drinks, they serve some of the best wings and mojo pork youâll find anywhere, and the atmosphere is very fun.

Busy Saturday lunch time. The din made it difficult to converse. Two salads, grilled chicken garden and Caesar with grilled chicken. Grilled chicken requested, on the side. Garden salad was fresh and enjoyable. Caesar was small with tired tepid romaine. Shannon, the server, verified that the romaine, although kept in a cooler, the cooler is ineffective so the romaine is always served that way.

I confess to being particular when it comes to good BBQ. While larger chain BBQ restaurants like Sonny's serve their purpose, it's often the smaller chains or independent places that serve up the real-deal 'Que that is worth going out of the way for. Brick City Southern Kitchen, located in the downtown square of Ocala, is part of a small chain of restaurants under the Mojo brand. One of my favorite BBQ places in the Central Florida area is also a small chain (4 Rivers), so I went in with fairly high expectations. The interior is fairly large and takes a page from a more urban, industrial look, a welcome departure for the area. It's one large open space with plenty of room for tables and a large bar on one side. The walls also contained a few folk-art-like pieces of art and sculptures, which turned what would have been ordinary into something interesting. Patio seating in front of the restaurant overlooking the downtown square is also available. The menu is fairly extensive with BBQ, seafood, burgers, and various plates and platters being offered. Itâs rare for kitchens to be able to pull off large menus and still serve really good food, but thankfully this is such a place. My wife went with the blackened catfish sandwich, served with the hand-cut fries as one side. I went with the burnt-ends, which is listed as an appetizer but for a little extra money can be ordered as a platter, and I chose the fries and sweet potato mash as my sides. My wife's sandwich was large and had that look to it that you instantly knew it would be good. She enjoyed every bite of the properly cooked and seasoned fish, maintaining very good flavor the entire time. It was substantial and filling, yet was so good she couldnât stop eating it.My burnt-ends were served cubed, which was different than I am used to, but they had that classic color ring between the meat and exterior char. They had a melt-in-your-mouth texture that worked really well...each bite savory and enjoyable. While the ends were good on their own (a sign of good 'Q'), I liked mixing them with the five or six sauces that were on the table. All of the sides were good but my sweet potato mash was a real stand-out. The fries were of good size, quality, and had a very good potato flavor. Service was prompt and friendly. In all this was a solid BBQ option (with other good food as well) and Iâm glad to see such a good addition to the area, which lacked a really good BBQ option until now. Weâll be back.

We had a gift certificate from a friend plus Harry's coupon for my recent birthday so...an evening at Harry's was a given.I'll get our one complaint out of the way first...parking...yikes! Parking spots are limited and seem farther away when it's raining. And the booths are a wee bit tight. Andrew, our server, was polite, informative, friendly, efficiant...perfect service. Thank you Andrew. My drink of an old fashioned was made correctly (Tom drinks beer), the loaf of bread with that awesome whipped butter was delightful and our meals were...super.

We stopped in for lunch on a Friday and it was about half full. We had the Pulled Pork Quesadilla and the Roasted Pork Fajitas. Both were good, but nothing outstanding. The Fajita platter was barely sizzling. The waiter was pleasant and checked on us regularly without being overbearing.
