The Moody Cow Apperley Bridge was the first in our herd. Going from strength, it's become a favourite destination in the area for discerning diners looking for a great night out in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Why not take a peak at our menu to see wh
Another fantastic night at the moody cow. My Husband had rump steak cooked to perfection. I had the squid then the salmon on the specials list also cooked to perfection so moist and flaky. Excellent new wine the Australian shiraz would recommend it. Lovely to see Jodie and made us feel very welcome as usual. We will see you all again soon

My wife and I are devotees of the steak night here on Tuesdays. Great value at £25 for a good bottle of wine and 2 x 8oz steaks, either sirloin or rump. Well presented and well cooked. The olives, too, were great value at £3 for a large bowl. Great service from Bethan and Georgina last night, and always a ready smile. Our only 'quibble' was nothing to do with the food or service. It was the 2 dog owners who allowed their 2 large dogs to lie sprawled across the floor. Anyone in a wheelchair could not have got past to go to the men's toilet. Why are dog owners so selfish and blind to others' needs? If dogs are allowed in pubs, surely their owners should respect human beings' space, ensure the highest level of hygiene and prevent their dogs from barking in an environment where people come to relax.

Not up to much, we had two roast pork lunches.Veg was like steam bag veg, definitely not freshly made. Yorkshire puddings were microwaved, pork was tasty. On the whole we will not be calling again.Very disappointed

The Old Glen House is a welcoming country pub situated on the idyllic Baildon Moor only minutes from the Shipley glen tramway, serving a range of cask beers, wines and home cooked food. With the wood-burning stove roaring away in the winter and the vast b
Booked table in the restaurant for Sunday lunch with family. Could not fault the service, young girls were friendly and helpful so off to a good start. Did not take too long for food to arrive but that's where it went a bit wrong. Steak pie had plenty of nice lean steak but crust was a little burnt and the gravy was not up to standard at all. Onion rings had far too much batter and veg was overcooked and stodgy.

Came here for breakfast after seeing all the amazing reviews expecting something out of this world but left feeling a little underwhelmed if Iâm honest. Sausages and bacon were undercooked and it had no atmosphere. On the positive prices were good and there were lovely views, waiter also very friendly, but I wouldnât rush back. Dear Lauren635Thank you for the review on you last visit. I am sorry you felt the sausage and bacon were under cooked. All the food is freshly cooked so sorry if you felt that was the case on your visit. On your photo it looks like the bacon is char grilled and the sausage is cooked but i will take this under advisement. We value both positive and negative feedback to help us improve for all customer. We are delighted you liked the view and the service was up to standard.RegardsThe Rooftop Cafe Team

We booked the foundry for my Daughters 21st Birthday celebration, after a little confusion regarding the booking and the food the party was a huge success and the food was fantastic regarding quality, quantity and variety. In fact the new owners food menu doesnât do it justice . The owners couldnât do enough to make it any better and were continually asking and checking if all was ok. The room holds about 80 and you can utilise the public bar area as well, they have a fantastic range of Gins and I would highly recommend booking the private room for any event or party and would certainly recommend using their catering.

Brand new to the Chef & Brewer family. The Halfway House is situated halfway between Otley and Bradford. A beautiful modern British pub serving modern dishes as well as the pub classics. It also boasts a wedding suite which can be used for a number of occ
We went on Wednesday evening for something to eat and a catch up. We didn't have to wait long to be shown to a table. Our drinks order was taken quickly but unfortunately when they arrived two of the three drinks were wrong - but this was rectified quickly. We took advantage and ordered two courses from the Supper Club menu for £13.99. Both courses arrived quickly and we all enjoyed them. When we got the bill we had been charged for the drinks that were wrong, apart from the little mishap with the drinks we had an enjoyable evening and would return. Thanks for your kind review, we really appreciate the feedback!Kind Regards,Halfway House Team

Stopped by en route to a football match, was greeted by a very attentive waiter who took our drinks order and explained the dishes available and emphasised their use of fresh ingredients.A short time later, a waitress came and took our food order. When the food arrived, I have to say my chicken curry was fantastic. My wife had a wild mushroom risotto which she enjoyed and my daughter had the meat tapas, while her husband had the vegetarian tapas, both of which were curry based, but both of which consisted of a number of dishes, which they both found filling and both commented on the quality of the various dishes. Food and drinks for four and all for under £60!I would thoroughly recommend this establishment to anyone who enjoys curry based dishes.

This lovely traditional country pub has to be the most famous 'working' pub in the country, as it is the original Emmerdale Woolpack and the only 'soap' pub where you can actually get a drink. It has a well-stocked bar and fine cask ales, and a tasty menu
We got married in Esholt church 17 years ago and celebrated this year's anniversary with an evening meal in The Woolpack. Upon arrival we received a friendly welcome and were offered a table of our choice. Drinks were served very quickly. The menu is very good and is, apparently, new. Good choice of meat, fish and vegetarian. The food is cooked to a very high standard and wouldn't be out of place in some top end restaurants. We both enjoyed a three course meal and were very impressed. We will not be leaving it for another 17 years before we return. Thank you to the bar and kitchen staff for marking our anniversary with a memorable meal. Also thank you to the chef for the complimentary drink, cheers! Hi The Wagsta,We are so pleased to hear that your trip back to Esholt on your anniversary was made even more enjoyable with a visit to the Woolpack. We are so pleased you liked our warm welcome and friendly service and liked the new Autumn/Winter menu. As you say, we have tried to provide plenty of choice for all tastes and budgets. Hopefully we will see you again soon. Thanks for posting the review, we really appreciate it as it really does give a massive boost for the team's morale.
