Well there are some good first.Service , slow Monday night with a hockey game. Server were friendly, efficient and helpful.Beer, good selection at a reasonable price. Really enjoyed this part of the dinner.Well then there is the food, now I am only commenting on the fish and chips. Tasteless, overlooked and dry. Take them off the menus until there is a better way to provide some good fish. I would thing that at a sports pub, this would be good selection but I was wrong. If you do go there, try something else is my best recommendation.

Stopped by Brasserie Daniel Lapointe at around 9PM - the outside looked interesting and the lights were like the bridge in Sherbrooke - very pretty. The food however wasn't as illuminating - the shrimp with garlic were delilcious but the coquille saint jacques was mostly bechamel. Very accomodating as we just wanted vegetables and salad with no rice or potatoes - waitress was great.. Salad was good but the veggies were bland. It's more of a sports bar with TV screens everywhere.

Right from the greeting though to the end of the meal we were thrilled with this great establishment. Huge covered patio offers tables in the sun and in the shade. Lovely music playing throughout the meal at just the right volume. The menu was so eclectic and included a tomahawk steak as its signature steak. We mused about how nice it would be to return for dinner. Another time. I chose the tuna tataki while hubby opted for the beef tartare. Both were exquisite! Not that we needed it but we ordered the blooming onion. Perfectly crisp with lightly spiced batter & chipotle dipping sauce. Excellent wine selection by the glass as well.Service second to none!

We took the children for a meal out and were delighted by the experience at Bla-Bla. The menu is quite wide - between us we had pizza (excellent), panini (fine), steak (nicely cooked) and some snacks for the kids. Everything was served promptly and by a very friendly and attentive waitress. The decor is pleasing and conducive to a good evening out. It wasn't particularly cheap but at least we had a good evening out.

Very cool concept - a restaurant in an old church. Nice layout, with some low tables and couches and other neat details And while this is probably irrelevant, the bathrooms are pretty cool. Somewhat disconcerting when you have had a bit of wine though because it looks like the floors and walls are crooked. The menu is limited but there is something for everyone. Burgers are their specialty, and unlike most restaurants, they offer them cooked medium if desired. Most people at our table enjoyed the food. The service was good too, except for a strange event where the waiter snatched my half-eaten fries when he realized I had ordered a salad instead of fries. I had eaten half of them by then because he was busy and I never bothered to mention the mixup, so it was weird that he took them away when he brought the salad over. Most waiters would have let the customer keep them. The biggest downside is that is is VERY loud. I donât know if it is because of the acoustics in the church, but it is very hard to have a conversation. The parking is also very limited. You can park in the street but that is difficult in winter when there are snowbanks in the right lane.So overall, a neat place that I would probably go back to for the right event. Thank you for taking the time to share your impressions with us. We are happy to hear that you've enjoyed your experience in our restaurant !

Went there for lunch today with my wife and son Joshua. This restaurant actually have an operational beer brewery inside. One of the oldest on the area, I was told. It is busy on Friday afternoon. We ordered pizza with potato, mushroom and duck fat, spring green salad with duck meat and fat, and also the beef ribs. The salad was delicious, I never have duck meat and fat with the greens. The pizza is ok, it would be much better if it have duck meat on it. The ribs were tender but needs more taste, and hot sauce will give the dish a kick. I have a glass of summer beer, it is sour since it have berries into the beer.

We came here for lunch and for dinner while staying in Sherbrooke for 3 days. We were seated immediately both times even on a Friday night. For lunch we had their chicken noodle soup and salmon/shrimp entree. We shared the sugar tart and it was superb. Both were yummy. For dinner we enjoyed the snow crab dinner and the shrimp dinner. Both were generous in size. reasonable in price and very good. Service was excellent. This is a very well managed restaurant with hard working friendly staff.

Came for a later dinner with the family and thoroughly enjoyed the fleet of beers tasted. The food is fairly basic pub food but they do a very good job of the basics, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered - and we ordered pretty much everything on the menu. Highly recommend the chicken wings - theyâre made with one of their beers and the sauce is finger licking worthy.
