Had lunch here today and ordered the Butch Cassidy burger. Other party ordered the Monday special of Red Bean and Conch sausage. I now understand how this was voted best burger in Mobile! Grilled bun, fresh tomato slices, dill pickles, cheese and crispy bacon....heaven on a bun! The fries (ordered crispy) were perfect. My dad left nothing on his plate of Red Beans and the piece of Conch sausage was probably 9" long! Shannon, our server, kept the tea glasses full!

Was recommend to visit Moe's Original BBQ. Recommend arriving early for lunch as the place fills up quickly. Staff was friendly and there is a large selection of smoked (as opposed to BBQ) pork, chicken, turkey and sausage dishes with sides to choose from. I chose the pulled pork sandwich meal with baked beans and broccoli salad. The order came out and the sandwich was wrapped in paper that I noticed was already grease soaked. There was plenty of smoked pork but the bun was soft to soggy. The pork had a good flavor and was very tender. The baked beans were very good. The broccoli salad was swimming in salad dressing, way too much. An overall good lunch but seeing that this is a chain restaurant, not spectacular. I would return to try one of their other smoked entrees. We appreciate your taking the time out to leave us this review. We will use your suggestions to deliver an even better experience next time.

And I mean they are serious about their food the atmosphere the service everything is awesome. I've had several different things to eat there including the schnitzel and it's all good. I finally got the fish and chips with macaroni and cheese and it was amazing ... spinach dip is awesome! it's served hot with chips and I could eat that whole thing by myself... recommended highly!!!

I love Irish pubs and this one did not disappoint. We came for the food and we shared a blackened shrimp poâboy and the bacon cheeseburger. Both were really well done. I wish they had real chips (fries) instead of potato chips, would be my only recommendation. Service was awesome. The place was packed inside and out due to it being a holiday weekend and we paid a 10$ cover because their was a band playing. I was a little worried that we wouldnât find a table but we didnât have any trouble in the back of the place. The band was fabulous (southern rock and a little Johnny Cash). I mean really really blew me away. Worth the cover. I would definitely go back if ever visiting Mobile again.

We will be the first to admit that oysters are not our thing. But when in Rome do as the Roman's do or when in Mobile go to Wintzell's Oyster House. This place had us at hello. It is well preserved with the long past owners words of wisdom or barstool poetry hanging and written on the walls. Great atmosphere and vibe to this Dauphin Street location. Our server was Rich who offered advice and name dropped all the famous people who have eaten there under his watch. Our service was friendly, full of information and fun. Nice combination and job well done Rich! For our food we ordered the Alabama's Award Winning Gumbo, Fried J.O. Platter (catfish, oysters, scallops and shrimp) and topped it off with their award winning bread pudding. The fried oysters were great by the way. The Gumbo and Bread Pudding best we have ever had. We shared and enjoyed a lot of great food. This would be a must stop if you are in Mobile. It is the place to go based off our limited study of the area. We are glad we experienced it and would highly recommend a visit.

Great place when the weather permits to eat outside. Waitress was very attentive. For appetizers we had Cheese Dip, very small bowl and couldnât keep that runny stuff on a chip. Premium Guacamole was the best thing of the whole meal. Beef Taco Salad was horrible appearance of the dish, it didnât even fill up half the bowl. Seemed to be missing the salad parts. Carnitas was horrible the pork was so over cooked and dry I couldnât eat it. The fried onions were good. Burrito Supreme was good. Chimichanga was also given a thumbs up. Chicken Quesadillas was given an ok. Sweet tea was awesome. If I am forced to come back it will be for the guacamole. To many other great places in Mobile to go for better food.Hello, We are even more delighted that we were able to be all that you expected us to be. We hope you give us the opportunity to connect with you again! See you soon!

We went to the Wintzell's in downtown Mobile. The whole restaurant was dirty. It looked like no one cared. We left and went to Saraland. This Wintzell's was fantastic. It was clean, we were seated immediately, and the service was great. I wanted the tacos and asked the waitress which ones are the best. She brought me fish tacos and sweet potato fries. She said she ate that dish all the time. It was perfect. It tasted fresh and delicious. This is the place to eat in South Alabama. We will return.*Please let me know if you have questions and/or found this review helpful. Thanks.
