An artisanal food, wine, and chai lounge. Passions collide at Social-Affair, where guests are invited to indulge in high-quality wines, artisanal foods and beer, and first-rate teas while relaxing in an atmosphere free of pretentiousness and snobbery. Wel
Social Affair just opened and it's a nice little gem. It's not especially big but that's part of the charm. It's right next to the Lot cinemas where the restaurant is huge and loud. Social Affair is a nice quiet alternative. They serve beer, wine, chai and small plates. While Livermore is close by, they've chosen to not go local. Instead, they have a nice selection of Italian, US and French wines. Some interesting varietals, too. The small plates are sufficient for a light dinner. They're tasty but not necessarily filling. Bottom line, it's a nice relaxing corner to spend an hour or two after or before a movie.

Bishop Grill, our on-site restaurant in San Ramon, is the perfect expression of California lifestyle, fresh, seasonal and approachable. The menu features local ingerdients, a selection of craft beers and regional wines.
Hard to believe that the best restaurant in the area is in the Marriott hotel. We tried others and eating here was better food and better service in a nicer atmosphere. The Bishops Market salad was excellent $12. Crab silders $14 were terrific. Nice selections for small portions or for larger dinners. Service was accommodating and efficient. Worth eating here even if not staying at hotel. Lively bar action during the work week.
THE SALT is a modern American fine dining restaurant & bar, inspired by 5000 years of culinary flavors, spices and tastes from India. Led by Executive Chef Jerrod Doss, The SALT promises to deliver food that is unquestionably unique, flavorful and adventu
I was thrilled when I saw the San Francisco Chronicle of The Salt in San Ramon. Tri-Valley Area restaurants rarely get the attention of the Chronicle and The Salt deserves it. The chef has taken favorite America foods like pulled pork and roasted brussel sprounts and enhanced them with Indian spices. When we were ordering my husband wanted the onion rings, but I held my ground that I wanted the brussel sprouts and he ended up liking the brussel sprouts better than the onion rings. My spouse is not usually a big fan of green vegetables! I loved the brussel sprouts too and wished my husband had not gobbled down so many of them.We shared the pulled pork and the lambchops. I loved the pulled pork and my husband liked the lambchops better. The naan is wonderful. Since I was driving, I wanted to sample a cocktail and a little wine, but not have too much. They volunteered to split the wine between two glasses and I sipped a few tastes of my husband's cocktail.

Our group was a total of 14 people. 7 adults and 4 children and 3 teens. I was searching for a nice restaurant that would be able to accommodate us on Fathers Day. I made reservations the day before. Not only did the accommodate us, they gave us our own party room. Our reservation was for 10 people but we ended up with 4 extra people. They seated us with no problem. I was surprised it wasnât crowded so I thought, âOh no the food must not be goodâ. I was wrong! We all ordered different dishes ranging from pizza to pasta and salmon. Everyone found something to their liking. We even tried the appetizers. The food arrived in a timely manor and everyone was impressed with their food choices. Toddâs the end of our meal, service slacked off and we had to wait for drink refuels. Which is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars. Iâm so happy we found this gem. We definitely will be returning here in the future. The place had a sports bar in the front and the family restaurant was in the bac. It was very clean and nice in appearance. EnjoyMary, We are so pleased to hear how you were accommodated, Our party room always comes in handy, as far as our slow hours, we are happy to hear you scored it. Thank you for your review, We hope next time we can turn it into a 5 star experience for you. Cheers, Management.

So we haven't been back in a long time because this place gets really loud and it's hard to carry on a conversation. We were hungry for BBQ and decided to give it another try. I actually prefer Sauced BBQ in Livermore to this place (but it's a long drive). This place is still loud :( While I actually enjoyed the food, the service was lacking :( She forgot to bring our appetizer :( I asked to hold the onions straws on my meal - she didn't - and didn't come back to check on us for me to rectify it with her (just picked them off) :(Those kinds of things can really make or break a meal out for me. Probably won't be back.

Went here with a group of ten for a business dinner. We ordered oysters and deviled eggs for appetizers. They were ok. Eggs didnât have a lot of flavor. The oysters were fresh and tasty. There were a variety of dishes ordered, burgers were popular and those that had them said they were good, the pork chop was popular as well and so was the Caesar salad. I had the buratta and tomato salad. The tomatoes were very fresh and the buratta was just ok. Service was ok, not great.

Restaurant was down the blockâ from where I staying so I decided to go as it seemed to rate well and was on open tableBar area/lounge was busy, but I was seated in the restaurant section in a big booth by myself. Restaurant really has no atmosphere and it appears to be a favorite of senior citizens. Decided To have the prime rib along with the California salad. Salad was good but a little heavy on the dressing. Prime rib was good for the price. Restaurant is very old style. Going to always attract the older crowd with the standards.

While in San Ramon, CA for a few days asked the locals where to eat that wasnât the normal channels of food restaurants... they suggested Clementineâs and it was enjoyable.Food was reasonably priced, no problems with parking, staff was on the ball and it smelled of great food on entering for dinner. Easy place to locate in a good neighborhood.
