I love this place! It has quite a range of national (craft) and international beers, and a pretty ok menu where you can get pizza, Mexican snacks and the sort.Prices are super affordable and it is a nice place to sit around and chat (and chew the fat!), except maybe when live music starts and sounds really loud.

This place is inside the Conrad Hotel. The venue itself is very well decorated and laid out. The service was top notch. I started with the chicken broth soup, very nice. Had a steak and a side of the pomme purée. The steak was perfect. The pomme purée was very bland. Every one had a decent meal. The place is very bright. They should dim the lights at night for better ambiance. Felt like eating in a school cafeteria it was so bright.

Hank's is a slice of Louisiana and its "French Quarter," which offers the traditional Cajun-Creole cuisine of New Orleans, a fusion of African, French, Spanish and American cuisine. The atmosphere at Hank's is incomparable, you can enjoy a delicious dinne
A few weeks back some brothers told me about this restaurant for their specialty on hamburgers... it was good but not awesome. The place was very clean and there was live music and the staff very friendly. But very expensive

Located in the most beautiful pedestrian zone in downtown, "El Callejon 7B" is the beer house for crafted beer made in San Luis Potosi and the perfect food to share with it.
I want to start of by saying I think it's an excellent concept for SLP, and it's nice that there are now a few bars to go drink micro/homebrews at in the city. It is something that has been taking off fast the last few years in Mexico, now that the country has discovered there is more to beer then just adjunct lagers. Unlike the past, Malt and other ingredients are now readily available to homebrewers in Mexico. We went to Callejon7B after seeing the advertisement on a tourist map. There is a short description of each beer on a chalkboard, along with % alcohol. Right away I'm going to complain about the prices. They start at $45 pesos and go up from there. There were no beer specials or food/beer specials like at other bars of this type in Mexico. Heineken the most expensive mass produced beer in Mexico costs $16 pesos and Bohemia (imo the best mass produced beer is $14). Ok so this is a bar and they are "special, micro/homebrews" and I know the owners have to pay heavy taxes to sell their beer, however I myself homebrew here in Mexico and it only costs me $6.5 pesos a bottle for high quality all malt beers. Surely buying ingredients wholesale + taxes should not warrant such a steep price per beer. Just seems to me like the owners are trying to milk the novelty for as much as they can while they still can. Hopefully it will not be too long till others microbrews start up and drive the prices down. Ok so anyways, I decided to try this extremely overpriced beer anyways, and ordered the special 14 beer, and a mild ale. The 14 beer had a bad smell and tasted downright nasty. I actually wondered if I had a bad beer. I asked the waiter what kind of hops was used in it, and he didn't know. I asked if it had Pepper in it and he didn't know. The mild ale was just "average" in taste. Nothing special. The amber was the better of the two beers and had a nice floral aroma, but then again it was nothing special. I wasn't wowed at all, and honestly looking at the thin heads that quickly faded away into the beer, it was obvious the beer I make in my own kitchen is better then what was served here and at one tenth the cost. Whether they are adding adjuncts to the beer to lower the cost or not properly aging it to settle the flavors, will remain a mystery to me. The beers were so bad I was barely able to finish them. Especially the 14 which almost had me gagging. Imagine that. I didn't try the stouts or wheat beers after that. I disliked that they poured the beer for us and quickly took away the bottles without allowing me to look at the labels also, which is part of the fun. I can pour my own beer. Would be nice also if the servers had more knowledge about the beers they are selling. I already know beer is made with water , hops, and malt, don't need a server to tell me that. I have tasted beer from all over the world! I wanted to know which varieties of hops were in each beer and they couldn't tell me. No lagers were available. which is understandable since it requires more work, however neither were any Belgian or English ales available. Just Mexican blondes, American brown ales, a Hefeweizen, a stout and some IPA's. I will just have to assume that they are novice to intermediate brewers just out to make a buck off their new hobby. They won't be the first nor the last. The beers were completely unimaginative How about some Chocolate coffee stouts or Belgian cherry wheatbeers? Czec pils, Belgian Bruns.. Why not show off some of that brewing knowledge instead of concentrating on raking in enormous amounts of cash? I was hoping to be wowed a bit. What a serious and expensive disappointment. Hopefully my review will help to improve this place. Like I said great concept.¡Hola!

We had a very nice experience here. Delicious food, fantastic service and nice atmosphere. Even I had a feeling that something was still missing, which I still don't know what it is. There are some nice restaurants in town, but in San Luis Potosi you won't barely find the good restaurants with good service. Not like in the other cities in Mexico. But this one is exception. I ordered the palmitos for appetizer. The presentation was surprising. And it was so delicious. They have nice selection in the wine list. But I found them so expensive. Probably they charge the double of the price other restaurants offer. But still I want to go back there again to try some other interesting menu.Hi , thanks alot for your comments about our Restaurant , we hope to see you soon.

This is not a wine bar..yes they have wine but were only serving 2 by the glass and those were not the best quality. The food was mediocre, lukewarm and not well cooked. The server tried her best and was the only thing worth mentioning. Finally, someone was smoking which was disgusting and when we commented we were told nothing could be done. No return visit for us!

Where to eat Steakhouse food in San Luis Potosi: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Downtown San Luis Potosi; a lovely terrace with one of the most unique views in town.
The Oruga y la Cebada may not look promising at first glance, but it is more than worthwhile to go beyond what appears to be merely a bar on street level and proceed to one of the two levels beyond. There you will find a friendly space with a staff and kitchen ready to provide you with a very fine dinner. Among the many choices, my wife and I had two beef choices, arrachera and Cecina, both of which were excellent. The total bill, including a glass of good wine and a bottle of water, came to around 25.00.Well located alongside the church of San Francisco, close to the center, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. It deserves its high TripAdvisor rating.
