Unpretentious choice with a bar featuring Californian-inspired cuisine & weekday drink specials.
On the 18th of August, we had dinner at this lovely restaurant. The staff was very friendly and polite, especially our waitress Florence. We ordered the poutine, the filet mignon, the salmon, the burger and the teriyaki noodles and everything was very delicious and fresh (and the portions were very big!). It was definitely our best restaurant experience in Montreal! Hello Mariekeg864,Thank you for your feedback.Hoping to see you soon in a restaurant,The ZIBO team!

I have recently gone to Montreal two weekends in a row for two bachelorette parties. Both times the parties consisted of 10-12 girls. The Terasse Sur Lâauberge could not be a more perfect spot for a bunch of ladies to get together overlook a beautiful view and sip on som drinks. The drinks were made really well, the environment was easy going and the staff were great! Both times we happened to have the same waiter Hugo. He was amazing!! He made us all laugh and feel very welcomed. He was knowledgeable about the menu and drinks and offered suggestions for the group. He even went above and beyond to book a dinner reservation for on of our nights. Hugo managed to even remember my drink order a week later when I came the second time! He is a great waiter and we had a ton of fun with him. The food was great as well, overall atmosphere/vibe and location was perfect. I would highly recommend.

We went up to the Hotel Nelligan's Terrasse for lunch on bright Saturday afternoon around 1:30pm. For the hour we were there, they had a steady flow of patrons. My wife said it was not what she expected, but it was exactly what I thought. Lot's of tables, some regular sit down tables, others were the higher bar type tables both round and square. Our servers were very, very friendly. Yes, it's a rooftop view, but quite frankly it's hard to see much of anything. As busy as they were at lunch today, I can only imagine what it's like late at night. I had a portobello sandwich with sweet potato fries. My wife had a grilled veggie wrap. Our bill was around $45, but I didn't mind as we had a great time, and great experience on a rooftop in Montreal.Thank you sir for you comment! We hope to see you again real soon!

Found this restaurant on Trip Advisor, and since hubby loves steak, figured weâd give it a try! We had one of the specials, steak with porcini mushrooms. I had steak Oscar with shrimp and scallops. Everything was wonderful, including the service. With a reservation, they greet you with a glass of sparkling wine, so lovely! Also, you must try the house special dessert , mocha ice cream pie!

After arriving in Montreal we checked into the Hotel Alt and wandered outside to find dinner. Three restaurants are right there and we picked Zibo. Had a couple of cocktails, pretty decent Mojito. I had the tuna and my wife had the sea bass. Tuna was perfectly cooked, that is to say just barely. Decent portions and beautiful presentation. Sea bass was excellent as well. Seemed kinda pricey, but as we soon found out, thatâs the norm in this area. Service was very good, bilingual waiter was friendly and attentive. Would return except there are so many alternatives within a few blocks we never did.Hello ,Thank you for your feedback.Hoping to see you soon in a restaurant,The ZIBO team!

This is a chain, but it's consistently good with consistently good service. I've been here a few times. The location in old Montreal is a fun addition, especially if you have a view of the street (which right now is under construction). I took some friends here and they all enjoyed their meals - two ordered filet and two ordered fish dishes (the rice was particularly yummy - I had never tried it before). So many restaurants require reservations in advance which you can't always do. This is a good place to go when you are not able to do reservations more than a day or two ahead. You don't have to have reservations to come here, but it's a good idea.

Every night, drinks flow generously as our kitchen serves up fresh, pub-style cooking. The menu: soulful staples, original cocktails and friendly service in a classic tavern setting. The space, originally a 19th-century warehouse, preserves much of its ol
So youâre in Québec, and therefore you are aware that you must try Poutine. You can do so in many places, but I suggest you order the classic version here at Gaspar. Not only in the poutine perfect, but it pairs very well with a St. Ambroise IPA. The service, too, is excellent.Hey BFK-NYC1,Thanks for the kind words. I will make sure to transfer your comments to our whole team. It is reviews like yours that keeps us working hard everyday so that everyone gets the same great experience :)Looking forward to your next visit,David

***Now closed for 2019 season. See you next summer!*** Located on the 8th floor of the William Gray Hotel, Terrasse William Gray is the place to be to soak up the summer season. With a breathtaking view of Place Jacques-Cartier, the St. Lawrence River and
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The hotel is 5 star, service quality everything. This terrace literally has the best view in all of old montreal. We went during the day but its most spectacular at night time. Then ferris wheel tour in the distance is lit up at night and you can see the moonrise too over the water. Just a beautiful view at night. They have heat lamps over the bar itself. Plenty of seating. The staff was accomodating, friendly. The place is busy it seemed all the time, mid week afternoon or evening, i can see why, truly a great view. We had an appetizer the first day, the rest of the time, just drinks. Good selection.
