When we arrived at the Branding Iron, the waitress that greeted us warned that service might be slow because they had a full house. We weren't in any hurry and love their food, so that wasn't an issue. For starters, we all ordered drinks. My husband and I each ordered a ribeye steak and our friends ordered the steamed cod and cheese sticks. Everything came out much faster than expected. There were at least three people helping us!As always the food was fantastic. The ribeye was extra juicy and flavorful. Glad our friends shared their melted cheese sticks - they were yummy.

My husband and I ate lunch here this weekend. I ordered my favorite thing on the menu, the Big Beef Dip, which is like a French Dip but much better. Also had an excellent mojito to drink. My husband ordered the AZ Kickin' Burger with onion rings on the side. They had a good selection of beers on draft.

my business partner and I entertained clients here, and the food was really good. Our young waiter wasn't quite as attentive as I would have liked, but our drinks were never empty for long. I will definitely bring people back here again.

We stopped here on a Friday afternoon to try our luck again. The layout makes no sense, but who am I to judge! There are plenty of interesting antiques to admire, but the restaurant atmosphere itself is certainly not fine dining.Having been here before, I am coming to the conclusion that some dishes are great and some dishes not so much. This time I had the all-you-can-eat fish fry special for $10.99 and my wife had the pasta dish. The fish fry included soup or salad, and I am a hearty eater, but the portion of fish (4 pieces) and fries was large enough that I had to decline the offer for more. The quality of the fish and fries was ok, but I have had better. My wife's pasta dish was very generous and it included 2 large pieces of garlic bread that was loaded with cheese; however, it was very soupy and less sauce would have improved the dish considerably. We each had a large mug of beer, and we were pleasantly surprised to find out that happy hour prices were in effect, so the beer prices were very reasonable. The service was ok, but it wasn't very crowded, so the service could have been better.Overall, we both received generous food portions for the price, and the overall price was very reasonable, so no complaints regarding the price. The quality of the food was average for the fish fry, and below average for the pasta dish because it was drowned in sauce. The service was ok, but substandard considering that it was not crowded at all. Some small changes could result in a better rating, but we would probably return again... after all, there are not very many alternatives nearby!
