Atmosphere was fine. We each ordered a sandwich. There was one poor girl working all the tables and the bar. Took about 40 minutes to get our sandwiches. They were typical pub house sandwichesânothing fancy, but tasted good.

small plates, cheese and charcuterie in a cozy an intimate atmosphere. A place for friends to gather and enjoy each others company while they also enjoy fine wines, craft cocktails, Vermonts finest beer.
I love Brix. Have been there several times and find the wine selection excellent and the light fare tasty and inventive. The service was cheerful and attentive. I cannot imagine where the "Penguinator13" reviewer thought he/she was. This is not New York or Paris (where I once lived). It is Rutland and Brix is an excellent addition. Also the word is "worst" not "worse".

Tammy was our bartender; she made us feel like we were old friends! She was knowledgeable about the food and beer--helpful in our ordering. Certainly glad we went there. You could tell there were a lot of people who came there regularly--a good sign.

I was driving through Rutland about lunch time and wanted something other than a fast food joint and saw Applebee's. The restaurant is either new or well taken care of. Very clean and well lit. I was seated promptly and my server, Melissa was outstanding. I had the bacon cheddar grilled chicken sandwich. Excellent, well seasoned and the chicken was tender and moist, maybe the best sandwich I have ever had at Applebee's.

We are a full service restaurant that is open to the public. The restaurant is on the site of an 18-hole golf course, which was established in 1901. We serve lunch and dinner daily, and in the summer are open from morning till night. We host luncheons, bu
Everything was top notch, the food, the service and the setting. The prices were reasonable, too. My friends took me here mostly because they live across the street. I expected a decent meal, but certainly not an outstanding one. The food though was great. I had a pork chop with maple glaze, rice and a veggie. It came with a salad on the side. All were as good as one could possible expect and the pork chop was probably the best I've ever had, thick, moist, tender and flavorful. The service was efficient and very pleasant and the setting, with a view of the golf course, was relaxing. OK - this is not a five star restaurant but it doesn't pretend to be. For what it is, a neighborhood restaurant, its hard to imagine how it could be better. I hope to return next time I visit Rutland.

We arrived late (for Rutland), around 9:15, but the service was still friendly and welcoming. There were still plenty of diners, but the bartender/waitress was very attentive without being smothering. The food was scrumptious. We recommend the gazpacho and the cripsy goat cheese salad (see pictures)âyummy! The bathrooms are downstairs but thereâs a very clean one on the main level, so is handicapped accessible. Just watch your step as itâs near the kitchen doors, so it can be busy.

We stopped and had some pizza which was great and a couple of flights of beer. The bartenders are great and we met some awesome locals.

I have been disappointed with 99 my last couple of visits. The most expensive steak I got was tough, I don't recommend that. I had the prime rib last week, it just wasn't too good. The service is good and they have a strong selection of drought beer so I will return. The choices for kids are pretty good too.

during our long weekend in Vermont one of my high school classmates contacted me on Facebook and wanted to get together for a meal while we were traveling up North. As he was in Bennington and we were staying in Burlington, we opted for a location somewhere in the middle. That location turned out to be Rutland. In looking through Trip Advisor it turned out that the Hopân Moose was recommended, so we decided to go there. It is a standard craft beer location with the pub-style food that goes along with that. We ordered a couple of craft beers, and white wine for my wife, then shared a pizza and some wings. One highlight on the menu was poutine, which is French fries with gravy and cheese curds . It may not sound delicious but it is quite good and a Canadian staple. The meal was fine, the beer was good, and the staff was quite friendly. Recommended.
