Food was ok, setting could have been lively. Evening ruined by rude waitress who got very stroppy when we pulled a few tables together. Some of us didn't have cash, some of us wanted to leave earlier, but waitress refused to split bill because it was "too bus" citing the small print of the menu. Absolutely ridiculous behaviours, besides I'm sure on average she would get more tips if people paid separately. Would not go there again. No understanding of customer service. Train your staff and accommodate guests wishes!

After a day of exploration and hitting a few bars, we were hungry for oysters. Being from New England, I wanted the best and the NY delivered. The local and French oysters we had were some of the best I have tasted. So pleasant on the pallet and too salty or sandy!Then we had pasta as our main course. The pasta fugues was excellent and loaded with clams. The sauce was not cheese enough and adding the parmigiana helped considerably. The beer and wine was also very good, and the only thing from a 5 was service. Our waitress was more concerned with our drinks and never asked about the oysters or food. Even though the 2 of us put down 2 dozen! But, you canât beat the food and we will be back.

While in Rotterdam, eat in an old ship to enjoy and recreate the harbour ambience.Place has a well stocked bar with excellent selection of beers. Food was brilliant, specially the Salmon and fish and chips.Buffalo wings were also tasty. The hostess was extremely friendly and helpful, as we were not familiar with the local language. All in all a great dining experience.

Bokaal is situated perfectly for the students and staff of EUC, so obviously we visit often. We were here for a birthday occasion and as usual we had some great drinks, but we stayed longer than expected and decided to eat there too. The spare ribs were amazing and the service was excellent. We were very happy to have chosen Bokaal for dinner in the sun!

Really great bar and restaurant. We were there on a Saturday evening and the place was heaving but managed to get a table. Good beer selection. The food was plentiful and good. Plenty of meat, but don't expect too many veggies. Despite the fact that the place was really busy, the service was good and quick. Go there, you won't regret it.

Great place with really good food. I had the hamburger with pork and blood sausage and some sweet potato fries - it tasted great. Just simple seasoning that does justice to the product. Bit messy eating because you don't get any cutlery but that's just the proper way to eat a burger in my honest opinion. I will surely visit again when I come back to Rotterdam!

We were for university visits in Rotterdam. For lunch we ended up at Baker and Moore. Be we found this because of the gluten-free lunch my daughter needs. They have nice breads and very nice gluten-free buns. Most toppings are gluten-free as well. Services was great only it took some time before we got our order. It was very busy. But the waitress kept us posted and apologized a few times for the delays. Overall good place to go. Nice gluten free buns and fresh slices of bread. Place to go.

There are plenty of places to grab a decent bite in this Soho-like part of town. Where this place used to be littered with illegal street corner vendors, it now has the best spots to go for drinks, food and animated conversation. This particular bugger serves some of the best bloody burgers in town.

As other reviewers noted the location is fantastic on a summer day and at the same itâs unfortunate that most of the vendors stop selling food around 8-9pm. But even so, come the beer. The on-site brewery brews some of the most delicious beer I have tasted in a long time. The menu is overwhelming, but the positive is that youâll definitely find something you like.

I did my research before i went to rotterdam so I already had decided to eat there before i got in rotterdam. I was very satisfied with the place. Authentic interior combination of different cultural touches.Location is good close to markthal. Next to the restaurant, there is a parking garage, you can park your car there.Only negative point was that the waitress had no idea about the menu, about the portions nothing at all.
