As far as beaches go it is beautiful white sand and blue waters. But it has its entrance fee and chair fee and umbrella fee and everything else $$. Dont bother bringing frisbee or balls because you arent allowed to play anything on the beach. I guess it USED TO have vball but then the massive new hotel took that away..

Pier 1 is Montego Bay's most pulsating open-air Seafood Restaurant, Bar and Entertainment Center that has been in operation since 1986. It is located on a picturesque peninsula in the heart of the bay allowing diners the perfect view for watching the crui
Visited pier1 recently, the location was beautiful, service was slow but whilst I was eating my meal a rat sat on my foot and ran through the restaurant and into the ocean! Very unsanitaryHello Beth,Pier one is a restaurant located on the seaside of downtown Montego bay. It is built on large boulders in he harbor. Over the 30 years plus we have been in operation we work very diligently at passing every health and safety inspection. As in every city, rodents can be an issue, which is why we have exterminators monthly. We are sorry that this has happened to you and we are doing everything to ensure it does not reoccur.Hope you visit again.

the food was ok at best. i've never seen people walk so slow. not one jimmy buffet song was ever played the entire hour we were there. stay in the terminal in the gates above 4 or 5 and you'll find better food. I MUST say, the nacho plate was the biggest i've ever seen.Thank you for your feedback! While we strive to deliver the BEST.DAY.EVER., we sometimes fall short. Hope your stay in Jamaica was enjoyable and happy you were wowed by the Volcano Nachos.FINS UP!

I've been to this restaurant a total of 3 times to cement my thoughts on it before reviewing. It's been a while since they've been operating and it kinda shows from the outside appearance. Seating at the front that was once welcoming show heavy weather wear and looks to be neglected. Inside has retained its appeal though with faces of well known people (the reason it's called facebaar I think).I discovered the bathroom on my second visit and it is tiny, so beware. The back porch is still fairly appealing but could use some fluffing up.Despite all this though I have to commend them on their food. My favorite is the shrimp linguini. Their Piña colada is a nice step up from others I've had. Shout out to Romario who played both chef and waiter for me and excelled in both.Stop by for a drink and pasta and see for yourself.P.S. Avoid the pizza if you can. Not the best.

Went expecting good food like on a previous visit in 2016 as a great location on the ocean. However, after over 30 minutes of waiting for a menu, trying to place an order with a distracted server over 3 visits to our table, finally found out jerk chicken and some side dishes -- and this was at 630pm -- were out.Likely never to return and if do, even before sitting down, will ask if out of any food.Other establishments nearby, while are not on the ocean, make very good food.

The owner collected items from all over the world and showcases them in the restaurant. Walk through and enjoy the fresh breeze when you arrive on the outside patio on the beach. The food was excellent. I had the best curry lamb in my Jamaica vacation and my wife and my daughter eat excellent as well. The young chef came out and told us about his travels and his culinary experience. We definitely be back on our next trip to Jamaica.

Great atmosphere right on the beach, with live music. The service was really slow and less than friendly. Dinner was OK. My chicken didn't seem cooked all the way through and the cocktails were made with cheap mixers. Others in our party liked their entrees better. I'd skip this place and head down the road for better eats.

We would highly recommend this resort the finest we have been to. Several places to eat Surf & Turf was our favorite. Resort is all inclusive.

This place offers basic lunch selections that are more like snacks - super small sizes and totally mediocre. Fish sandwich is the best option, but itâs about 4 bites. Nachos smothered in cheese sauce with hardly no other toppings. Basic burger. Soup was ok. It is what it is - non fancy and conveniently located right on the beach. If this place wasnât part of the resort thereâs no reason to eat here.
