I don't think I have ever not left a tip until last night! This place is so unpredictable. The last time we were here the place had it together, but last night I am not even sure why they had the doors open. The place was half empty when we walked in. There was no one to greet and seat us, we stood at the front door for awhile. Finally a hostess comes by and says "I'll be right with you" then ask the couple behind us "how many?" They tell her that we were here first, hard to figure out I guess as we were standing in front of the other couple. Once seated we enjoy the atmosphere for quite awhile as nobody comes to our table to order drinks or anything. After what seemed like a long time the hostess walks by and asked if anyone has helped us, she takes our drink order and meal order. I use the restroom and see that a waitress has swung by and dropped, yes literally dropped off one silverware packet. With two of us sitting there we actually had to ask for another. Chili's has those table top computers so to kill time while we wait, wait, wait for our food. It took forever, we played a triva game. Food finally arrived and was placed in front of us by someone other than our waitress. It was hot and actually tasted pretty good other than mine didn't have everything the menu said on it. We now spend the next few minutes trying to flag down the waitress to correct the missing items. She fairly quickly resolves the issue as she drops of the item in a passing move. We eat and enjoy the food. The nice thing about those table top kiosk things is you can pay the bill from them so we call up our bill only to find an item listed as "Table Entertainment $1.99. What? You got to be kidding me, you are charging me to kill time because you can seem to get food out of the kitchen on a timely basis, Bull Sh:t! I flag down the waitress and tell her if I am going to pay for table Entertainment someone slightly dressed better be dancing on the table top! She quickly removed the charge. As I said I don't think I have ever not left a tip, but last night I DIDN"T!

Chopshop Live is a great addition to the quaint town of Roanoke. We shared an outdoor room with 18 friends and were entertained by the Eagles revival band, Desperado. The menu has some very good offerings, and drinks are available, too. It was a fun night and well attended. Desperado is quite a talented band and I hope to see them again.

I'm glad we tried this place. And now we know not to go there in the future. Would not recommend. Too loud. Mediocre food. Way overpriced for what you get. The only feature I liked was the free sampling of a large selection of wines and beers.

Friendly, quick service. Busy but very warm atmosphere. Great beer selection and perfect mixed drinks. The salads are delicious - fresh, crisp, flavorful. Pulled pork is tender and seasoned well. I cheated on my diet and had a burger - worth the guilt!! Wonderful burger!

JAPANESE AND KOREAN CUISINE. GREAT PLACE. GREAT MEMORIES. "A creative style of sushi to fill your appetite. Enjoyable indoor and outdoor bar complete with friendly staff. Foster's also has a total of 10 flat screen TVs to suit all sports fans."
Had a lunch menu with various sushi rolls and sushimi. The riceless selection of rolls were really fantastic.

Weâve considered twisted root in general and the Roanoke location in particular as favorites for a number of years. My two sonsâ go-to personal favorite. But bit by bit over the last, say, two years this place has lost its charm, its uniqueness and has gotten very bland/boring. First to go was the fun banter about your famous person foos order. Then the menu above the kitchen. Tonight all the soft drinks were changed - forget about the fun special flavor. Itâs become very âcorporatizedâ for lack of a better description. And for the first time ever, the place was less than half full tonight at 7:00 pm. I assume others are having the same reaction to this place as we are. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted. RIP.
