Traditional English pub dating back to 1654 with a luxurious country feel. Real fireplaces throughout. Unique interiors, freehouse. Real ales, cask beers, excellent wines. The food is locally sourced, regularly updated and delicious. A stunning private di
Visited this place for the first time since it's been a restaurant. Previously, it was a pub.Went with a group of people. There is a good selection of food on the menu, all at reasonable prices. You can choose between having starters and mains, or simply a selection of small plates. We had a variety of both. The waiter/owner ensured that all the food was served at the same time. The food, without exception, was delicious. The portions were huge, although it was explained that they could do smaller lunch versions of some of the dishes. It would have been nice to see a lunch menu if they had one. However, we were very impressed with the food and the standard of service. This is certainly one of the best places to eat close to Sittingbourne.

The Harrow Inn at Lidsing Pub & Restaurant in Kent is a fantastic country Pub and Restaurant, steeped in over 220 years of history and heritage.Located in the small Hamlet of Lidsing, just outside Maidstone, Gillingham and Lordswood the building itself ha
My friends and I have been meeting monthly for lunch for a long while now and have been in many a hostelry and tea shops in the towns.Today was our second visit to The Harrow and it was as welcoming as the first visit.Clare ,the owner is a delight and could not be more helpful and had lit the fire to warm it up as it was so miserable out. To walk into a pub's restaurant and see tables set with white clothes and shiny cutlery,a flower and glassware is a joy to me.We had wonderful freshly cooked fish finger sandwiches(real fish) cooked to perfection and wonderful light batter one friend had a bruschetta with chilli and cheese and another had mushroom soup which she pronounced "the best she had ever tasted".On our previous visit ,there had been mention of Lemon Meringue Pie and Clare had one today especially for us,it was delicious. So we sat and chatted drinking our tap water and decided to book our Christmas lunch and obviously, booking next months lunch although seeing the menu we have decided to have a cooked main next time and the order for our Lemon Meringue Pie is also in the book. It may be slightly off the beaten track but it is so worth a visit we could not fault it thank you Clare and staffThank you for your glowing review. It is lovely to know that you are coming back with your friends and family over the coming months. Hopefully you will get to enjoy all the food on the menu. I look forward to seeing you next month if not sooner.

The Broadwick Restaurant & Bar offers homemade popular global food with an extensive drinks selection, including a range of cocktails, craft beers and gins
This was our first visit to the Broadwick, for lunch to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary. We were greeted at the door and shown to our seats, which were extremely comfortable, armchair type seats. We were given a carafe of water while we selected our meals and drinks. We choose our dishes from the lunch time set menu - I had the cheese burger and my husband had the chicken schnitzel. We also had a glass of very drinkable merlot. For desert I had cheesecake and my husband had apple pie.We both enjoyed our meals very much and found the service to be friendly, efficient and timely. If we hadnât used the lunch time set menu, the meal would have been on the pricey side. However, the food is excellent and the restaurant has an lovely ambiance, so I think itâs worth paying a little more, especially for a special occasion. We will definitely return to the Broadwick.

Iâve not been here for a long time. The place has really changed for the better. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The staff were courteous, professional and above all knowledgeable about the food and the drinks they have to offer. Thank you for you kind comments! I will be sure to pass this along to the team and hopefully we will see you again soon!

Restaurant. Lovely family run village pub, and restaurant. Garden overlooking fields in a peaceful location. Dogs welcome in the public bar and garden.
Went here for a booked meal on a Saturday night as a table of 3. Positives were that itâs set in a gorgeous location with fields and pretty lights. We ate in the conservatory which was nice. Also the waitresses were very nice and helpful.Negatives - Cajun chicken burger was no good it was more like blow your head of spicy and burnt and tough. The bun it was in was toasted til it was hard. Someone else had scampi and liked that.We waited quite a long time for our food to come out and had to keep asking for drinks as they didnât come over and ask.I would definitely go here for an evening drink in the beautiful garden but I really didnât rate the food - Iâm sorry! (Maybe just that dish but then us two had the same thing so couldnât say).

The Cricketers is a Mainstream business, We serve food everyday from 11:00-21:00, We have a variety of different lagers, ales and craft beers to choose from. We show all sports on numerous TV screens and also have a designated restaurant which is a sport
The Cricketers has recently undergone a transformation with a new manager & staff. Excellent atmosphere with friendly & efficient staff. Wide range of food & drinks. Great atmosphere in which to enjoy a meal, drink and watch sport if you wish. No loud music!Lovely to read your comments about your experience, I'll make sure to pass them on to the rest of the team. Thanks again for the recommendation, and have an amazing day!

Called in on the off chance for a meal and told in a very un like able manner FULL so i asked could we maybe wait NO FULL ,we had a drink in the dogâs garden sorry then left.Sorry but you need to be a local in this pub.We are very sorry we were not able to offer you food on this occasion. We do get very busy at weekends and very often are completely full or sold out. We therefore always request that customers book in order to avoid disappointment. We trust that you may return sometime in the future.

It's been maybe 30 years since I last ate in a beefeater, we were staying in the hotel that is attached to this building and it made sense to eat here, but I am glad that we did because it was a good experience. The waitress we had as kind, attentive and professional. The food arrived in good time, as exactly as ordered and somewhat exceeded my expectation. The price was reasonable considering the location and kind of place that it is.

The Three Tuns was built in 1468 and has had an ale licence since 1764. Inside you will find crackling open fires and a traditional style pub, plus a separate dining area serving fine restaurant food with an ever changing seasonal menu using local produce
We sat in the garden and enjoyed a seafood platter board each. It was fantastic and we struggled to get through it all. The service was top notch and we found it all to be a great experience. We will definitely be returning.

We have heard a lot about lunches at the Rose Inn. So last Sunday we booked and went. What an amazing place. Itâs just a small pub. We ordered four Sunday roasts. The food was amazing. Hot plates, hot fresh food and plenty of it. All for £8.50. How do they do it. Keep up the good work, we will be back.
