We did not stay at the hotel but we did stop in for a fabulous lunch. Good service, great food. The manager is very pleasant and the property is beautiful. Wish we had been spending some time there.

We stopped in here just to check things out and we were pleasently surprised...Diego is a solid bartender and even better person. It's a fun atmosphere with great drinks. We can't wait to visit again.

We stopped here for our lunch that was provided by our tour. The food was good and the view incredible. The beach area was absolutely stunning as with most beach areas around here. Only complaint was every single bathroom stall was stopped up the entire time I was there and no one was doing anything to fix it. People do not seem to understand the concept of NOT flushing toilet paper even though their are clear signs so I don't think it was the establishments fault but I would be hesitant to stay here due to the lack of trying to fix it. Would come back for lunch and drinks and beach view though!

Had lunch here on our first day in Tulum, we were the only ones in the bar which is always a worry but then it was early. We were recommended shrimp taco platter for two which seemed expensive at 400 but it was a lot of food! The only beer they done was corona in a can but the cocktail menu looked good so we will be back to sample those. Good service, same 4 songs seemed to play over and over though which got a bit annoying!

Vegan Ice Cream with wine & beer bar in Tulum!
I came to this food spot because I had seen a few photos on Instagram of a little blue vintage car that was parked against the fence across the road and wanted to take one myself (#noshame). The blue car had been moved, but we were super hungry (borderline hangry) by the time we got there, so we took a seat. And I am so glad we did (thank you, Instagram)!I think I ate tacos almost every day in Tulum and eating here was no exception. We got three types of tacos - two of them, I don't remember. The third one, however, were octopus tacos and DAMN those things were delicious! If/when you go here, please...order some octopus tacos and tell me how much you love them!I also ordered the strawberry ice cream, which they mix with any alcohol you want. I forget what I got, but it got me nice and tipsy. The only thing was that the ice cream was too cold for it to melt and mix with the alcohol. So that could have been better. But it was cool to try. And again, it did the job. =P I wish I had tried the coconut ice cream, but they didn't have any left! The servers were really friendly and helpful. And the ambiance was great! The menus are old car visors and the entire place has a really cool vibe. Oh, and some locals mentioned that in the evening, they let you smoke weed (if you're into that).Such a cute place and I would definitely recommend giving it a try!

Authentic Mexican style taqueria in front Tulum's beautiful beach. Our politics: If you speak Maya or you are a local celebrity, you get a discount of 20%. Our slogan: Sit down, relax and eat some f'ing tacos...! We have food for everybody.
What a cool place! I was with my hippie aunt, mother, and two other aunts and everyone enjoyed this place. My hippie aunt and I probably enjoyed it the most, but the tacos are great, service was good, the beach below was cool, and they are even 420 & pet friendly! I am now a regular! Thank you Taqueria La Eufemia!

Caribbean sun, sweeping white sand beach, big coconut trees, and a breathtaking view of the turquoise sea. This is not a description of Daniel Defoe's Robinson Crusoe, it is the location of Ziggy's,Beach Club and Restaurant. Open from 7am-11pm every day.
We did a beach bar crawl on September 2nd, starting at La Euphemia at the south end. Our 4th stop was Ziggyâs for Lunch. We had 3 Coconut Shrimp Dinners (885 Pesos), a Caribe Shrimp Ceviche (275 pesos). Super disappointed now that Ziggyâs no longer offers their fresh fruit Cocktails, like Banana and Strawberry Daiquiris. Had to settle for a Lonah Tiki (250 pesos), a Tropico (250 pesos, and a Modelo Especial (60 pesos). I asked for a glass of water and was brought a Glass Bottle of Water and charged 125 pesos. I wouldnât ask for water at Ziggyâs again, especially since there was no mention Iâd have to buy it. Note to self â next time ASK BEFORE ordering. Our bill total came to 1,845 pesos and with a 15% tip, was 2,121 pesos. I put the lunch on our Credit Card, and it came in at $144.53 CDN for 3 people ($48.18 CDN/pp).Ziggyâs was the only place we went that didnât add a âSuggested Tipâ. Instead, they offered 3 options: 13% (good), 15% (Excellent) or 20% (Outstanding). We left our stuff on one of their Bali Beds, and went in the Ocean for about 30 minutes.I found that Ziggyâs Shrimp Ceviche was amazing, but their Coconut Shrimp overcooked, and the green mashed potato it was served on was cold. I have previously been to Ziggyâs a few years ago, and I was pretty disappointed this trip. Over $48 CDN per person, for a Shrimp Lunch, an Appetizer shared 3 ways, a drink each, and of course, the $8.50 CDN Bottle of Water. Needless to say, I wonât go back . . .

The Mexican Experience is exactly that, an experience! The concept is simple; travelers from all over the world are united around a large table to enjoy a 5-course meal of exquisite Mexican cuisine, accompanied by a night-long open bar!
We were absolutely delighted by this experience. It was such a unique concept as we had never come across such a tour. Itâs kinda like a tour and a dinner combined. Our guide Riaz was the life of the party and gave such interesting information and insight. Really recommendable doing this.

Back for yet another season from Nov til July, Mulberry Projects PopUp is on the beach at the La Zebra Hotel, for what we guarantee will be one of the highlights of your visit. Forget traditional and embrace the new and unexpected as owner, Jasper Soffer,
Swam around and baked in the sun all day and when I thought it couldnât get better, had some of the most deLICIOUS drinks by the hotter-than-sand-and-sun Virginia. Total babe, badass bartender, and some of the best cocktails Iâve ever had. 10/10 recommend, will probably stalk this lil pop-up wherever it goes now.
