It was 15:40 on a saturday, me and a friend was waiting for others to join us... so we sat in one of the booths with the bench seats with our drinks awaiting the others to arrive, having being sat there 10 minutes... a member of staff approached us and said we would have to move as the table was reserved, the table wasnt reserved at all... other tables where but not this one, so i oblidged and as i did do the crowd of about 15 plus walked over from opposite tables which is like one long table but i think its 3 pushed together, and said thanks for moving they need our tables soon... so whats that all about, moving on 2 people that was soon to be 8 to be replaced by 15 plus people... not happy and definately wont be in the bar again.We are so sorry to hear this. Really good night at this Revolutions. Reserved a table for a friends birthday, everything was easy and efficient to organise, good table with balloons, friendly security/staff, music/DJ was on point and venue had a good vibe for a Saturday night! visited here 03/11 for some Sunday morning Brunch receptionist was very friendly and so were the staff I ordered duck hash which was lovely, my girlfriend ordered the avocado on toast. When she received it her poached eggs were quite cold She told the waiter and he immediately asked if she wanted replacement eggs or a fresh meal. What a lovely place for a relaxing bite to eat and have a drink. We had a great early evening bite and a few beers. Ross, who runs it, has a lovely attitude and is really friendly. Highly recommended.

We have been to Rufus before in the evening but just for a drink. This time we wanted to try the Sunday lunch.I had phoned to make a reservation as the online booking system wasn't working.The Sunday lunch menu is small which I prefer .We both decided to have the roast beef meal. I only wanted one course but my friend decided to have the home made soup. We ordered some wine too.We waited, waited and waited . It was an hour before the soup was brought to the table. Then another longish wait for the main course. Although the menu advertises the "real" gravy they have, there was no gravy to be seen with our meal. We asked the serving staff & also for some horseradish sauce. The gravy was brought but not the horseradish sauce.The food was good except for the cauliflower which was soggy.It's a pity the service was so slow and slightly chaotic. An error was made with our bill which was corrected when it was pointed out

The food here is always amazing, and after a little disappointing end on our previous visit, the lovely landlady certainly made amends this visit.On arrival she immediately came over and explained why the chef had left before our grandaughters were unable to order desserts last time we were there, and offered all of us a complimentary dessert at the end of our meal, which I feel was a lovely gesture and restored our faith in this lovely local establishment.Looking forward to our next visit already,trying to work our way through the delicious Tapas menu.Certainly recommend a visit for anyone who hasn't yet experienced this lovely place,

Went there for dinner..on checking restaurant hours we found out last orders for dinner was 8pm but we decided to phone and check and we were informed it was now 7.30 so we rushed to get there. Got there ordered and food took 40mins while we ordered we asked if we had to order our desserts with the rest of the food and were told that we could order any time, went back an hour later after dinner to order and were told kitchen was closed.All in all food is good service dreadful. Waitresses unfriendly and service really slow at the bar and restaurant Hi, thankyou for your review, Iâm sorry you feel you didnât have a great experience with us, food service is until 8pm during the week and then 9pm on Friday and Saturday unless we are extremely backed up with checks which is what happened and why food service will have stopped slightly earlier, Iâm sorry about the wait for your food you experienced too but again this was due to the kitchen being very busy although you should have been told about the wait on food as you were ordering so I can only apologise for this. Nice surroundings, decent simple food for good prices.However we waited over 30mins for our food, spoke to the waitress twice about it and then when it finally arrived it was delivered by a rude waiter with no apology.
