Sher-E-Punjab, located in the heart of Panjim city, is the oldest Punjabi restaurant in Goa. It primarily serves authentic Punjabi food along with some popular Goan dishes and Indo-Chinese favourites and has AC, non- AC and open-air courtyard seating.
Sher-E-Punjab is the oldest Punjabi restaurant in Goa and apparently this year they completed a glorious run of 50 years. Finding typical Punjabi food in Goa is a challenge and this place definitely helps overcome that challenge to an extent, but for me being a Punjabi, I would say my experience was decent, neither bad and nor very good.Starters-Pick- Chicken Seekh Kebab and Tandoori PomfretSkip- Boti KebabMain CoursePick- Rarra Mutton and Skip Butter Chicken if you know exactly how a butter chicken tastes, but order it if you aren't fussy, and just focus on enjoying a decent gravy and not calling it a butter chicken whatsoeverOverall, worth trying and although I did not enjoy too much, I would like to give it a second chance for sure.Sat Sri Akal Ikreatepassions Ji! Thank you for taking the time to write this review. It was our pleasure serving you. We are pleased to hear of your good experience. We have been serving our guest authentic Punjabi food for the last 50 years. It is only through your feedback that we will be able to maintain and where necessary improve upon the service we provide our guests. Thank you once again and hope to see you soon!

Ritz Classic is a multi-cuisine restaurant based in Goa renowned for its seafood & Goan Thali since 1978. What began as a quaint, little restaurant with Cafe Ritz Restaurant & Bar in the heart of Panjim City serving the traditional Goan food soon expanded
One of those restaurants where you want to leak your plate! We ordered fish tali, paneer makhani, chicken cafreal, sweet corn soup, garlic naan and tossed salad. And all these dishes were extremely tasty, mouth watering, delicious, yummy etc...!!! So agree with other posts saying that Ritz food is absolutely fantastic! The pricing is moderate and doesn't not empty the wallet. We also visited Ritz restaurant in Panjim and everywhere there are lines for lunch and dinner! The service is wonderful as well. All waiters work fast and very professionally. we tipped a lot, as the food and service made us overly happy!! Great work!!! Will keep coming back for sure!!!Dear 530katiam, warm greetings from Ritz Classic. We would like to thank you for the 5-star rating and for taking the time to share your review. All our patrons love the seafood preparations and Goan Thali we offer. Weâd love to continue providing great service to patrons like you. We look forward to serving you again.

Always maintains the standard of food...Was a family dinner, njoid the ambiance, the food and more so can your your own alcohol.Only the starter salad .. watermelon with fetta cheese was a let down ...had to ask for more cheese as it had hardly any.The deserts ...the panacotta and the red square bit with hazelnut cream was just delicious.Hi Sparkie09,thank you for taking the time to provide valuable feedback about our service. We apologize that your experience was less than ideal, and we hope you'll give us another chance to prove ourselves.

The Fisherman's Wharf, in North Goa is an unique dining experience with its quaint settings, replete with the oyster shell windows, the huge brass pots doubling up as fountains, the assorted woven bamboo baskets painted in some bright and funky colours lo
Ambiance - beautiful setting - a Portuguese house converted for the restaurant. Soft lighting and live music. Perfect setting a lovely evening. Staff - Very friendly, knew the menu very well and extremely helpful.Food - The best part of the place!!! The food was stunning. Must have seafood when here but saying that the chicken fried rice was equally good. The food can be a bit spicy...just to be aware. However my fav was the dessert...the apple pie was to dir for!!!Totally value for money. It would be recommended to book a table especially for weekends.Dear Guest,Thank you for sharing your valuable feedbackwe are more then happy to know that you were happy with out food, ambiance and service and we would like to assure you that we do work toward maintaining the highest quality standard and creating a memorable experience at all time. Please do visit us again,we will be happy to serve you againRegardsManagement

Food is good but many dishes were spicy. The restaurant overlooks the river so its a lovely view to have specially for dinner. Most of the nights have something happening like live music, Karaoke etc. which is good.

On the first day of my arrival in Panaji, I was scouting for a restaurant, famous for the local cuisines. Then I had remembered Ritz, an old restaurant located on the first floor of a building on 18th. June Road and this used to be my favourite haunt during my numerous trips made to the city many years ago all on business. I along with two other participants for the conference, which would commence the next day, had reached Ritz at about 7.30 PM on a Thursday and were immediately accommodated on a table. The restaurant, famous for its fish thalis during the lunch time, was a little oblivious of its décor and interiors. We had asked for a portion each of âmasala papadâ, âsquids masalaâ and âmackerel tandoorâ as the starters to go with a couple of drinks. The squid rings prepared in a tangy sauce came with a humongous quantity and three of us had struggled to polish it off. Mackerel was quite well prepared too. For the mains, we went for âFish Ambotikâ, a signature Goan dish (chunks of Kingfish in a mildly sour gravy with pieces of Kokum) and plain steamed rice. Ritz has always been classic with its authentic Goan flavours and quite affordable pricing of food.
