We are a family run American themed restaurant with a twist! We serve beautiful food, create amazing cocktails and give you the best experience possible upon your stay with us!
We booked a Groupon deal for this restaurant, as we were staying at nearby Heywood House Hotel, The bar is clean, nicely decorated, and relaxing with a good atmosphere. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious. We will definitely return here in April.

Ate here during our break in Liverpool. As it was a Tuesday night it was fairly quiet but everything from the service to the food was excellent. I would highly recommend this fabulous eatery!

My wife and I visited 2 nights running due to being extremely impressed on our first visit. Top rate food and great service was provided on each visit. We were made to feel welcome and would recommend this venue for a pleasant meal in nice surroundings. We were well looked after by Erin and hopefully will be back on our next visit to Liverpool.

Family lunch. Excellent experience. One vegetarian, one carnivore (!), one happy with either. Everyone left very happy!!!!Very friendly staff, especially the bar man, who asked about our day, plans for the day and gave a general feeling that he hoped we truly enjoyed our meal.Food was so so good, we all wanted to eat it all, but just not possible. Large portions, while hot, flavoursome and well presented.Visited several times and will continue to do soThank you for taking the time to review your visit. We're so pleased to hear our whole team, kitchen and bar, delivered a wonderful experience. We hope to see you again soon.

Al Dente Restaurant has been serving to its guests for over 20 years in different locations. The last destination is Lark Lane where is the perfect destination of the Liverpool for the discerning diner. We are bringing together the great Mediterranean cui
We took my in-laws visiting to Lark Lane figuring we would just pick somewhere that looked good for a birthday dinner. Most places had long waits, so we ended up at Al Dente. This should have told us something, but we gave it a shot anyway. We sat waiting for our order to be taken for nearly 30 minutes, and more than an hour after we arrived for our food to be delivered. When it was, it wasnât good. We ordered 2 carbonaras and 2 meatball dishes. I had the carbonara, and it tasted like someone had thrown the most bland cream sauce on spaghetti with some out-of-the-bottle Italian seasoning. That is not what carbonara is supposed to taste like. My in-laws both had the meatballs, which they described as dry and bland hamburger balls. Will not be returning, I suggest you avoid.Hi, I'm sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your evening with us. We constantly strive to give every customer the best possible experience therefore we will be having a internal review to improve our service and standards. I hope we can rectify this by seeing you again soon.Kind regards,

Clockworks is a bar and restaurant inspired by the era of industrial invention, serving Brunch, Dinner, Drinks and Rock & Roll. Open early till' late every day.
Walking back to the car park we came across âClockworksâ in Wolstenholme Square, originally we popped in for a quick sandwich intending to have a roast dinner much later, but when we saw and smelt their roast we couldnât resist. The dinner is way to big for mum and I so we asked the very friendly staff if it would be ok if we shared, not a problem, neither was mixing a concoction of Fruit to make me a soft drink. Nothing was a problem, they lived up to the saying the customer is always right. They greeted us as soon as we walked through the door as if we were old friends. Chatting with us while taking our orders and made us feel like they were sorry to see us go. The roast beef slices were massive and very tasty, the red wine gravy was delish so were the honey glazed carrots (how do they get them like that!) the roasties were crisp outside and fluffy inside, I let mum have the rest of the veg as I am not a veg person. Yorkshire pud was massive and crispy. All in all we had a lovely roast beef lunch. Saved the sandwich for later. The bar itself was very cosy and relaxed, a mix of families older and younger couples, shoppers and tourists. I would defo recommend, I might give a Friday night a go too as they have live bands playing.

This is a fantastic victorian pub, fully refurbished with an eye to the past.Positioned on the banks of the River Mersey with views over to Liverpool,we serve great home made food seven days a week 12pm til 9pm and carry up to six real ales from local mic
Travelled from Manchester to meet family members here who had recommended the Refreshment rooms and we were not disappointed. The service was prompt and quick with the food arriving piping hot and of generous portion size. Six adults and three children ate and drank for under £98 which to me is good value.Staff members were friendly and patient when dealing with our indecisive children and the quality of the food was good (very hearty pub food). Thanks again
