A diner-inspired restaurant & bar offering progressive riffs on classic diner fare including some wild cards like caviar and foie gras. Look for a bustling open kitchen, a rotating cake display and a fun vibe.
Great diner with a retro vibe. Came here to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday and it was worth it. I ordered the double cheeseburger and fries which tasted spectacular. The fries were extra crispy; must admit that I was a little surprised by the portion size (not the typical diner portion but a small-medium portion). The happy sauce and lettuce on the burger tasted really good and gave it a signature taste. We sat at the kitchen counter although at the time of our visit (5:30pm - Saturday) there was plenty of seating at the bar. I highly recommend making reservations if you prefer a booth or sitting at the kitchen counter (the counter gives you a view of meals being prepared). Our waitress was very friendly and courteous.Great concept and glad that I went but I don't see myself going there again; a wee bit on the pricey side. Would rather go to a regular diner.

We have been coming here for many, many years. The food has been consistently good and the service is also. On our last few visits--all mid-week, including last night, it has been so noisy we couldn't have a conversation. It seems that guests (mostly men) start out in the bar, drink perhaps too much, then come into for dinner and think they are the only ones in the restaurant (or the world). Our last three dinners have been very unpleasant. I think the management owes it to other diners to make sure some people aren't unduly loud and that diners can enjoy their meal.We will not return. So Sorry to hear of your unpleasant experience due to neighboring customers being too loud. Truthfully it is very difficult as owners and staff to manage the noise level. People come to our place expecting to to "eat, drink, and be merry." Given the size and dimensions of our place the noise levels rise pretty quickly. Things tend to be more quiet during lunch hours as well as the early or later dinner hours (5pm-6:30/ 8:30+). I hope you will reconsider -- we will do our part to address unruly patrons in a more impactful manner

A traditional American bar with a British twist. From delicious wings to traditional Shepherds pie. A cold beer to a single malt Scotch. Live entertainment to your favorite game....here you'll find it all!!!
So we saw the reviews and took a chance - you can tell that the locals really like this place as it was packed (it is a bar with small dining area). We must have caught them on a bad day as they forgot our appetizer, messed up another order to the point we had to return, and one of the items that was right, was well overpriced for the quality for the cut of meat (reasonable price if was the cut actually ordered). Now, they did try and rectify the wrong order but finally came out when the rest of the party was done - so we took to go...I gave 3 stars because they did more than appropriate management action to make the most of a bad visit.I wish them the best - as it looks like small family business that does take out / delivery as well - so I would love to see them succeedDear erik f,We really appreciate your review and will use your critiques and comments to try to perfect in all areas. We are so very sorry that you had a less than fabulous visit to The Clydesdale but hope that you will consider visiting us again should you be in the area. It is so important to us to get all feedback from customers be it great or less than great because this allows us to work hard to perfect both our service and our food. Thank you again for taking the time to come dine with us and we really do hope to see you should there be a next time you're in the Port Chester area. Joe & Debbie

in the basement of a home in a residential neighborhood. So excellent as you would never be able to build it now, and it's so much more low-key than the way the rest of the town has become. It looks like it would be a dive, but you see everyone here. $5 burgers and well-priced everything else make it a regular place.

This rating was a challenge. Kids ordered burger and chicken quesadillas. GF Burger was served not as ordered. Missed the lettuce, tomato and bacon. Quesadilla was very much enjoyed. Adults had a GF burger and cold peel and eat shrimp. Both fine. So why the average rating??? Simply put. Why would a Restaraunt that only has one stall/toilet in its menâs room tape the broken toilet seat together with black duct tape. Either replace the seat or buy a new toilet!! Just astonishing how management thinks sometimes. Who is watching the store ?

We ate at McShane's Friday night. We were greeted and seated immediately. Great staff - courteous and attentive. Food was delicious and timely. We were not rushed and enjoyed a pleasant meal and drinks. Highly recommend giving the place a visit.

We took the grandkids to Rye House after the movies and enjoyed a good dinner. Burgers were fresh and well cooked. Good selection of beers and wines. The service was excellent, given that grandkids tire quickly. Also the appetizers, especially the spicy shrimp, are excellent. We would definitely go back.

In the UK this would be a gastro pub. This large restaurant has a wide menu of basic dishes which it executes very well. There is also outdoor seating if the weather permits and parking. The dishes are reliable and well made, service is excellent. A really pleasant place for Sunday lunch, when it is child friendly.

The pizza at Coals is worth the pilgrimage. It is that good. Just look at the rating on TA. We went on a Sunday night and C was packed by 6:30. The restaurant only serves beer and wine. However, the IPA beer selections are impressive. Also, the atmosphere is very casual. Easy Peasy. Highly recommend.
