This was a name "of good omen."

Driving round looking for somewhere to eat on a Sunday night in Italy isn't always that easy. About to give up we stumbled upon this place and what a find it proved to be. English football on the many TVs, English, and other non-Italian, beers, great pizze and burgers and fantastic rock memorabilia, again mostly British, all over the walls - what more could you want. The place was empty at first but soon filled up with hungry families in to watch the Juve match. A great atmosphere and the next time this will be our first port of call.

I sometimes get tired of stuffy restaurants in Italy. It is like you either have to go to a restaurant or a bar. Temple Bar is a great mix of both. Great food and fun people. I was surrounded by tables of groups of friends and people watching the soccer game. It was relaxed like a bar, but with great food and service like a restaurant. I appreciated their passion for cocktails and local beers as well. Since there was a live band on the way I transitioned right over to the bar for great drinks and a little peek into the very healthy Piacenza nightlife.
