We ate here on a Saturday afternoon. It was pretty busy inside and out on the covered patio area. We chose to eat outside and really enjoyed it. The Reuben sandwich was really good as was the brisket cheese steak sandwich. The whitefish sandwich was tasty but the amount of fish is minimal, order the extra fillet for $5 and it will be perfect. Service was good and prices average. We didn't have any of the beers but there was definitely a large selection.

We had a hungry bunch, and needed a roomy place with a variety of offerings. Open Hearth was exactly what we were hoping for! Varied menu, delicious food, adequate seating for our group of seven and a baby, and reasonable prices. And above all, friendly and efficient service. We will definitely come back when we're back in the area.

An Amazing location for your family & friends to enjoy a wonderful meal!
This place is tucked away from the main drag. But well worth the drive. The pizza was awesome. The service was great. Nice clean area and lots of seating. You can set outside or in side. They bring the food to your table. Will go again!!!

We were visiting Ludington and wondered why nobody was on this patio at 5 pm....we found out. Despite the polite and helpful young man who served us, we decided to never return because the food/drink was not good. I have never had such terrible water at a restaurant. Then I ordered a Coke because I could not drink the water, and it was also bad. I would imagine it's the ice cubes made from the water? Or maybe the Coke is actually made from the water? I don't know but it was awful. I couldn't drink it. I ordered and specified no pecans and the server passed it on to the kitchen but they disregarded it. I noticed after eating half that I was served a wrap with pecans. Fortunately it's not a life or death allergy in this case but given the prices, they really have a lot to learn to warrant those prices. It is one thing to pay that for a GOOD meal that is served as requested....but to pay those prices and get a wrap that wasn't as requested and have a burger that was clearly a patty that was a frozen production and just cooked up....no way. It became clear why the deck across the street was practically full!Additionally upon leaving, we walked down the sidewalk and a woman nearly ran into the window belonging to this restaurant that was wide open into the sidewalk and definitely a danger to pedestrians who wouldn't be expecting a window open into the sidewalk. WOW.

Check us out on the Pentwater episode of "Under the Radar" on PBS Family owned business since 1976. Lots of outdoor seating and large outside bar overlooking Pentwater Lake and the Municipal Marina. Cozy inside dining room and bar. Open for lunch and dinn
IT was the end of the season and yes there weren't a lot of people around but they were open. It would have been nicer if they would of acted open. When we finally ordered they brought us magazines to read while we were waiting. I can look back on it a laugh about how strange that was. Anyway, food was average and not overly hot.Ice tea was $2.95. Two sandwiches and two ice teas were $40. Oh well.

What from the outside looks like a hole in the wall is actually a fun bar and grill serving amazing comfort food. The menu is only a single page. The burger selection is fun. There are non-burger sandwiches and a couple other options, but this is a greasy spoon so you should order what they do best: burgers. The âNotoriousâ burger is a full pound of beef. Even âThe Cubâ is half a pound. Come hungry. But donât come expecting any healthy options, only yummy ones! The service is friendly. While it is clean, it is small. There is only limited seating near the bar, on the ground level, and on the second-floor porch. Plan to come at non-peak hours.
