We visited this restaurant for happy hour and were seated right away. Service was good. We ordered serveal dishes... wings (tasty, crisp, and a good-sized order), tri tip quesadilla (the meat was overdone and chewy), margherita flatbread (very good and a large portion), and the three cheese alfredo fries with bacon (soooo good, we couldn't stop eating these). One note: the strange ball lights over the bar were terribly annoying.

Great atmosphere in the evenings as you can sit outside. They also have heat lamps if you so desire. The food is like any other pub / restaurant. We liked this place other than just one little negative as the one evening we stopped in the service was lacking a little. I had to finally get up and go to the bar to ask for more drinks for the table. Not a biggie.
Great drinks and great live music! Your basic cover band but they're really good at what they do! Good for people watching, too.
When we stay at Pala we start our day at the pool and have appetizers and cocktails before later on going to the buffet. Chairs have little flags you can raise upright and a server will come and take your order. Can be crowded on weekends and if loud children bother you be warned. I am amazed at how many people when staying over will bring the kids with them. The pool is heated and you go also go into bar café area to eat and drink.

We were pleasantly surprised when we stopped by for happy hour. The decor is very tasteful, not gaudy. Service was friendly and prompt. We tried several food items. The stuffed mushrooms were very good, the $1 street tacos were great, the ravioli was a good portion but a little disappointing as it seemed that the sauce was just tomotoes with no spices, but the creme brule trio was the bomb.. if you like it sweet.
