Some reviewers need to mind their surroundings. This is a sports bar in a college town. The food is perfect for this atmosphere. I highly recommend their burgers! I had great service and their drinks are cheap. The owner came around a few times to check to see how we were doing which I have only witnessed maybe two other times in my life.
The wife and I have visited for lunch a few times since Corner Grill's opening. On each visit, the craft beer taps have been fresh, fantastic, and often local. Likewise, we've enjoyed each meal that we've had. The Corner burger melt is deliciously ridiculous burger with mushrooms and onion between two grilled cheese sandwiches. My wife has also enjoyed both the paninis and wraps. And, we both agree that the fries are outstanding.I highly recommend CG&D for lunch and/or a quality beer. We'll return often.

Although the place was extremely busy, we were seated within 7 minutes and our server came right over to our table and introduced herself to us. She was extremely helpful with all the menu items. We got our delicious wings within a reasonable time and our orders were correct.. Everything she suggested was "right on". Not only were our wings cooked perfectly but out server served us with a "smile".

I visited twice when I was in town - each time, the waiter was knowledgeable about the beers and the menu, and was happy to make recommendations after asking about other things I liked. Nice to have such an engaging waitstaff - and good food, beer, and service on top of that. Our waiter handled a group of 8-9 of us seamlessly: individual checks delivered promptly and to the right person the first time. Payment was speedy. They could teach other venues how to handle groups :-)Well done.

WE had never been to Scotty's in all our MU visits and loved the menu. You can get anything from grilled salmon to burgers. It is not pricey and the service was great. Enough tvs for any sports enthusiast, even though we weren't into it.

A friend of our daughter's who went to Miami recommended Skippers. It is basically a hole in the wall type pub. My husband said his burger was excellent. I had the gyro and it was good but a little salty for me. Fries are super. This was in June so not many college kids around and it wasn't busy. I can see how it would be a popular hangout for college kids.

Visiting Miami as a alumni and stopped at Mac & Joeâs for lunch. Great food and service. Also a full bar with many options. Ambiance is as advertised meaning itâs a bar with booths and tables. You will appreciate their burgers, sandwiches and apps. Donât miss it when you visit Oxford and Miami.
