We stopped here for lunch, en route to the ferry, at the recommendation of a French friend. We werenât able to get through on the phone to book but the staff were delightful & found us a spot at the front of the terrace with fantastic views across the beach. I had the house salad & my husband had a burger, both delicious. Only 15mins from the ferry but could have been a world away. Heartily recommended. A good idea to call ahead & book if you get the chance as itâs (rightly) popular.Hello,As I said to your husband, thank you for your review on our shop. It would be our pleasure to welcome you again in the future.Best regards,

Halfway between Caen and Ouistreham, the Brasserie "Les Trois Planeurs" faces the Bénouville Bridge, a strategic point of the June 1944 Liberation. Along the Caen Canal, a vast sunny terrace welcomes the local people, British, Europeans or Americans for a
Popped in having read negative reviews about another nearby cafe. It was busy so sat at an untidy table, which in a busy place I have no issue with, the menus are on the disposable placemats. Was looking through this waitress came asked us if we wanted food & drink we replied yes she then cleared the table (so no menus). She didnât reset the table. She came back in 5 minutes & asked us what we wanted (remember no menus) I sought of ummed & ahhed saying I donât know whatâs on the menu? Waitress stood tapping foot. So we had a coke each, paid & left got a 1.50⬠carrefour sandwich down the road!Itâs a shame but due to its position Les 3 Planeurs isnât even trying!Good Morning,Sorry that your visit to our establishment is not more. Our waitress this remember you came, from a certain time we only serve the snack what our waitress has told you.We give us customer a small card or you can find our drinks as well as the snack party of our menu. What our waitress did for you.We strive every day to provide a quality service.Sorry if that didn't convince you.

This restaurant is a great place to eat and soak up the sun. Food here is simple but well prepared, has good size portions and sensibly priced. The staff are friendly and helpful and the service is quick. We ate here a couple of times on our way back from the beach. The bar has a good selection of cold beers which go down well on a hot day! Recommended for brunch.

Not keen. I admit it's our own fault for venturing into an 'Irish' bar in France but it was Sunday night, we were waiting to get the ferry home and everywhere in Ouisterham and Caen was closed. Although it looks friendly from outside its really not! We're not the shy type but this was cliquey and unwelcoming...and the bar staff were positively unfriendly. Beer was nice tho'....

Fast food restaurant with a burger choice french fries home made crepes salads ice cream and tea time
Unpretentious restaurant that made us very welcome quite late at lunchtime. Very good andouille and camembert galette. Lovely lady owner and prices extremely reasonable. Just a pity the salad could have been a bit more elaborate. Apart from that if you are in the area and you are hungry do not hesitateHello yjacquesb, thanks a lot for your commentary. You're right our salads are simple but well garnished and fresh because we are a snack restaurant
