We went during the week in the winter time, so not ideal, but staffing was bad. Only the bartender and the Chef were in. Took us approximately 30 minutes to get seated and menus.Once we finally ordered, the service was prompt and the food was good, no complaints. Fish and chips were excellent. Price was a little high in my opinion but not outrageous. Restaurant does have a nice view of the ocean and an upscale feel. I would imagine on the weekends and/or during the summer its probably a nice place to eat.

Nye Beach area is crowed, and Tap House isn't exempt from the finding a parking space. Even with a parking lot across the street, if you are not early, then you have to find somewhere to park. Once you have accomplished parking, then you suffer from sticker shock when scanning the menu. Food is adequate, but not worth the prices they charge. I'm a resident of Newport, and there are many other places that have just as good and better food for less cost. I most likely would not return, unless a guest of ours wanted to go.The one positive, was the wait staff (Paul) was great, informative, attentive and pleasant.

Hadnât been here in awhile for breakfast, so we were pleasantly surprised that the overall dining experience was still very good. I had a traditional egg entree and my wife went with an omelet. Both came as ordered, nice presentation, and very quick. Servers were exceptional today, checking back often to see if we needed anything. This was a Sunday morning so most diners were enjoying the ocean views and a leisurely breakfast, and it was nice that there was no effort to âmove you aloneâ. We left, reminding ourselves that SR still is at the top of our list of preferred stops for breakfast/lunch! Weâll visit again!

We eat here every year when we stay at Hallmark Resort. Yes, it's convenient because they're connected, but the food is mouthwatering...Oregon's #1 clam chowder! Great steaks and outstanding seafood, with a large, varied menu. Large, expansive windows face the Pacific, both in the dining room and the bar area. Management has it right here , too...like the attached resort. Highly trained, smiling, accommodating staff...all of them...many of them veterans here...like Pearl, Juan, Tess, Cassie. Impressive! Our group of four enjoyed our visit immensely. We sat outside on the patio, and enjoyed the beautiful day while eating the delicious food. I enjoyed the Taugues Delight, Irish style sausages smothered in seasoned apples and onions sauteed in Strongbow hard cider, served with mashed potatoes, peas, and a side of our house mushroom gravy. It was delicious, and far too large a portion for me to finish. Others in the party enjoyed the Veggie Sandwich, the Dublin Burger and the Vegetarian Celtic Curry Pie. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. Service was good, but not exceptionally fast or attentive. If I lived in the area, I would return.

It might not impress as you walk in...small bar with limited seating...but once you get to the menu and staff serving, it turns into a gem stop. Ordered a 7 inch pizza with pepperoni, bacon and sausage, olives, onions and mushrooms. Hubby ordered a chili burger. It took a little while because everything is made fresh but the TVâs keep you occupied. The pizza was terrific! I would love to try some other toppings. Worth a try!!

Szabo's used to be a favorite until today. The French Dip sandwich used to come on a hoagy roll..now a stadium hot dog bun. The Fish Sandwich was a colorless slab of something. We ate there every time we came to the coast but this was the last time. Service was good, but it takes more. Would rather pay a higher price that pay for the food we received

A beautiful Autumn day in Depoe Bay called for fish and chips, a scenic waterfront view with a local draft beer to take it all in. My cod and chips dish was great. The batter was light and the fish fresh tasting. I couldnât resist the cup of tomato soup after our waitress explained the style. My spouse chose the fried oyster sandwich which he said was delicious. My choice of beer ended up being the Scottish Ale which was excellent and my spouse selected the Moby Red Ale and was delighted. We sat upstairs with delightful views of the inner harbor. There are great views of the ocean also if you so choose. Our waitress, Tiffany, was a joy and gave us excellent service. We would love to have room for dessert one day as the menu was extremely tempting

We stopped here to get oysters on the half shell. Unfortunately, they were out of oysters...... So disappointing! We decided to order their fried Calamari appetizer and it was outstanding! Nice thick strips of calamari (steaks sliced maybe?). We also had their clam chowder and it was good, but I wouldnât say the best Iâve had. The service was attentive and very friendly.

This restaurant has a nice wait staff and a lovely view. There is parking at the front of the restaurant. We ordered mango juice and coconut water which was refreshing. The salad rolls with shrimp were really delicious. We got stir fry chicken and drunken noodles. Unfortunately they were both disappointing orders, there was a lack of flavor in both meals and the drunken noodles were very doughy. We actually wasted it when we were actually starving. Hope they can do better with these meals for the next guest.
