This is a nice cute little place to grab some food. We recently had dinner here. I really enjoyed the food. It was packed when I got there but I was seated right way. I will definitely eat here again.

My wife and I visited Sleepy Hollow for a long weekend to celebrate the Halloween festivities this year and stayed at the Doubletree in Tarrytown. The Bridge View Tavern was a place we read about on TripAdvsior prior to going and wanted to check it out for lunch on a Friday as it was a close drive. We had an awesome experience and our server Patty was a large reason why. She greeted us immediately and talked to us like old friends. We told her we were in Sleepy Hollow to see the sites, etc. and not only did she give us a map with info she also recommended several things to do in the area. We had excellent (and spicy) Bloody Maryâs and burgers for lunch and everything was fantastic â the Chorizo Burger was unique and I loved it. We then walked around town all day, went on a cemetery tour, etc. for the next 8 hours and decided to come back for drinks and snacks. We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of speaking to Patty once more and learned she is actually the GM of the place. She was a joy to talk to and she and her staff are excellent. The bartenders we had were on top of everything and the Yankees were playing so it was packed. We ended up staying until close because we were having such a great time. They also have a little beer garden out back, but we didnât have a chance to see it as we wanted to watch the game. Make sure to try the pulled pork nachos. I would highly recommend this place for top shelf food, craft beers and an awesome staff!

Found this place purely by chance while driving around in Westchester. You actually need to look hard to notice it - it shares quite dull neighbors of your average suburbia mini-mall. Inside, though, this is a modern American-style restaurant/sports bar with an impressive menu and an equally attractive wine/spirits list. The service was top-notch, the food selection - mouth-watering, the quality of preparation and presentation earned top marks. Some menu items were quite fancy in terms of style fusion. All in all, a very positive experience, and if I'm ever back to that area again, will definitely pay another visit.
What to do and see in Ossining, United States: The Best Places and Tips
We actually helped fund the kickstarter campaign a few years back; we are so happy that they have opened, we hope that more cool new places can open up in Ossining. My husband has gone a few times and he says that the owner is very knowledgeable, the beer is great, and being so close to the train station is a perfect location.

Squire's Restaurant provides fine family dinning with the best Burgers and Steaks in the Briarcliff Manor area
Stale buns. Nasty cook or possibly owner glared and stared at me when I asked for a fresh bun. He just sent the burger back untouched and starred/glared at me for requesting something so unthinkable! . The rug in the dining room of this dive was moist, sticky and stunk so bad they had to keep the overhead fans on high on the low ceiling. The servers were nice, so one star for them.

The view and ambiance almost overshadow the great food. Located on the Ossining waterfront we enjoyed the views before feasting in the great selections. They have a giant pretzel with mustard for starters and then a steak burger loaded from top to bottom. Even a nice selection of sushi. Leave room for dessert if you can (we couldnât). Then sip a nice beverage while watching the boaters in the Hudson.

I was looking for a seafood restaurant in Ossining near the railroad station for lunch after completing a several mile hike on the Old Croton Aqueduct Trail - using TripAdvisor, I narrowed it down to Boathouse and 3 Westerly then selected Boathouse based on the food reviews. And the reviews were spot on - the food was indeed excellent! I was a bit skeptical of the meatless quinoa chili to start - but it was very good, and hit the spot after a long hike on a cold morning. You know the seafood is fresh here when I couldn't order the salmon because they had not received their morning delivery - so luckily they had a filet of sole special instead with tender asparagus - everything tasted awesome! While the view of the river and Palisades is pleasing, it is a bit unfortunate that the parking lot is where it is - but given the land available to them, they clearly had no other choice so just lift your head up an extra foot to remove it from your focus. Thanks to Brian for the great service!
