This is good for lunch or dinner. Location great because the outside seating area is car and road free. On this visit we dined twice here both times the food was excellent. Pork was well cooked, local fresh shrimps Devine and the crumble as good as any English! Staff are friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.

We enjoyed a really good lunch here. The club sandwiches were enormous. The smoked salmon sandwich was really delicious. Good service. While walking around Arnhem we came across this restaurant and gave it a try. They had a nice menu, good service, and the food was very good. A little expensive and it was a nice experience.

I had the egg plant for dinner and it was very tasty. The cheese cake for dessert was also good. Very nice atmosphere. The service was a bit slow considering that the place wasn't very busy while I was there. Nevertheless, I'll be back.

Beautiful location, spacious and stylish dining room.I ate the best deer I've ever had, as other food.Good selection of wines from over the world: we got a Sauvignon from Argentina and a Tempranillo (Catalunya). It was a very pleasant night.My favourite place in Arnhem!

Excellent coffee and delicious apple pie. In a very relax ambiance with motivated staff. Tt staff member might not be so experienced but they have love for their work, their products and their customers. Prices are average. In the nice quartier of Klarendal, with nice few on the trains between Central and Velperpoort (if you are a train hobbyist like I am). Their beer selection we haven't tried but looks tempting.

What a great find - we only stopped here for a couple of beers but loved the concept - around 100 beers on tap (mostly Dutch) including a full range of styles; you load up a payment card from the servers and then just pour your own beer where the card is then debited according to the ml poured. Loved it!

It's been a while since I was last here. Staff was friendly and put a few tables together for us. White wine (sauvignon) was very nice. I had the most basic burger, very tasty but a bit red for my taste. They didn't ask anyone how they wanted it. Great shared platters and dessert.

Fantastic service. Very friendly.We had a starter and a burger.The main burger and seasoned fries with salad were fantastic. This has been one of those rare occasions were the staff and chef listen for how you like your burger.We will def return.Thank you

After a ceremony at the nearby War Cemetery our party of eleven descended on the Schoonoord. Fortunately I had made a reservation as our visit coincided with the annual remembrance celebrations for the Battle of Arnhem, & the Schoonoord seems to be a popular haunt for participants & visitors in this respect. Consequently the place was extremely busy & the staff stretched in dealing with the substantial number of guests. Service was slow & a bit random, & it took a long time to get the bill. As for the food, it was affordable âpubâ food, nothing to rewrite home about. The Wok dish seemed to be appreciated by those of our party who had it, but the deconstructed ribs were so-so. Verdict; overall, pretty unremarkable.
