In 1992, the Lishman family had a dockside moment of inspiration. What if there was a premium restaurant that offered delicious, fresh food served with the same fun, relaxed hospitality one enjoys with family and friends at the cottage? From this simple d
After being shut out of our favourite Asian spots without a reservation this Fatherâs day, we all concurred on repairing to this joint again. Initially busy, it cleared out before our food was served which dampened the normally raucous ambience. Our fetching server Claire was amiable, attentive and quick with suggestions or available substitutions. The fam opened with the Big Bang shrimp, mildly spiced but succulently sautéed and served hot, like the rest of our dishes. They disappeared instantly. Daughter 1 loves burgers, so she had the cheddar bacon burger with fries and gravy (sheâs always trying to gain weight). Not just nicely presented, it was grilled perfectly, very juicy and flavourful. Daughter 2 had Claireâs favourite, chicken parmigiana, and was equally pleased with the bright flavours and generous chicken breast. The wife always has the blackened basu and, again, was very pleased it is never over cooked. I canât resist the half rack ribs, with fries and âslaw, but this time with ghost pepper sauce. Outstanding again, as always. With a 23 oz craft draft, 8 oz wine, a ginger mule, $150 for 4 before tip.

This is the perfect date night venue with great casual but nice food and solid drinks menu. It's just cool enough to make it clear you're not in a chain restaurant and not so insanely trendy that you can't get in and don't really want anything on the menu. Everything looks and tastes great - not a single disappointment at our table considering atmosphere, food and service. We'll definitely return!

The Kings Arms Oakville is owned and operated by Angelo Triant & Rob O'Donovan. Available at the pub 7 days a week day & night. They are dedicated to providing the highest level of customer service.
I researched a fantastic place for a date night in between Vaughan and Burlington and came up with this as my top contender based on the criterion of: keto options, New Zealand sauv blanc options and amazing homemade pub options. Boy did this deliver. Our server was kind, amazing, hardworking, adorable and willing to trek upstairs multiple times to check the sugar/carb count of the foods I needed. I seriously love her, you guys. The food?? OMG outstanding. This might be the best date night out of HUNDREDS of different venues Iâve had. Iâm excited for anyone who tries this for the first time. The. Best.

Beyond the slowest and most pathetic service I have ever encountered. Saturday night and the establishment is well beyond capacity (cc: Oakville fire Marshall), yet there are two servers working the bar. Thus far we waited 12 minutes standing at the bar to be served our drink in a kid's menu cup. If I owned this place, I would walk far from the restaurant buisness and take up something more suited to my speed, such as knitting.

Tin Cup is the original upscale sports bar. Join us for great food 7 days a week, and live music every Saturday night.
My honey and I were looking for good salad options and this was a great choice. There were 8 good salad options and the 2 we chose were delicious. We had the calamari duo (grilled and battered) as well and it was delicious also. Very nice spot for a good meal in a pub atmosphere. We'll definitely go again

A North American bistro offering fresh ingredients that are expertly crafted by Italian chef, Marco DâAngelo. Open 7 days a week, visit for lunch, dinner or weekend brunch. Enjoy a drink on our sunny patio, or catch up with friends over a bottle of wine.
We were here for an early dinner. The staff was excellent. I enjoyed the feel of the restaurant, though it was fully open air when we were there, which led to a lot of nuisance bugs. There was no real indoor option which I would have preferred, so maybe I would like it better in winter. The food was good, though I thought overpriced for the quality. Drinks were very overpriced. Enjoyed my meal, but don't know that I would go back.Thank you for sharing your feedback! We are happy your recent visit was enjoyable and welcome you back anytime :)

For superior cuts of meat and a large selection of wines and sophisticated ambiance, there is no other choice than Bâton Rouge Steakhouse Bar & Grill in Oakville.
Visited yesterday after several months. Service was excellent & atmosphere was OK. Ribs were tasty and came with mashed potatoes only - you had to pay extra for another side like veges. The Salmon piece was small, unseasoned & completely bland. Instead of a plate full of Calamari ($15), you got a few rings placed on a bed of lettuce to make the plate look full. With no alcohol, dessert or coffee the meal cost $88 plus tip for two persons. Definitely, not worth the money. For a truly memorable experience & far better value, check out Trattoria Timone in the same plaza.

I met my sonâs family for a pre-holiday lunch (a customary half way between his GTA and our Niagara home). He chose this place based on favourable TripAdvisor reviews.Based on the strange name for the restaurant, I was not expecting much. Turned out I was in for a pleasant surprise. A comfortable and cozy, warm (very warm) neighbourhood restaurant.Service was quick and friendly and the food was well prepared upscale bar food. Lots of choices, even for our picky grandkids, and the food came out quickly and well presented. Even though there were six of us for a brunch Sunday, there was no pressure to hurry up and leave. Prices are not low but rather close to the GTA average for this type of bar/restaurant.All in all a good find and we will likely return. About the only slight complaint is that the restaurant faces west and if you are seated by the window, it becomes very hot and glary, even on a cold day - might consider installing blinds for such days.

With chef inspired small plates and handcrafted cocktails Plank is a taste of New York City in Bronte
With a three and five year old included, they served us well. Excellent service and very accommodating, the food was perfect for the kids and adults alike. Dumb Sum and Cauliflower starters were very nice and the mains cooked perfectly. A table in the back corner for six worked well.

BREAKFAST, LUNCH, DINNER & LATE NIGHT Book your Holiday Party at Symposium. We have an extensive menu for every taste and for every budget. Office Party, Social Brunch, Large Group Gathering, Family Celebration: Symposium is the best place for casual, ups
We stumbled upon Symposium Cafe when looking for a place for lunch while traveling through the area. I quickly looked it up on Trip Advisor, and the good reviews prompted us to give it a try. Although we were dubious about a mall restaurant, it turned out to be a good decision. The food was very good, and the service was friendly to our family of 5. I would happily go back if in the area.
