Fabulous dinner with 32 of us enjoying the expertise of the chef matching wines with each part of the 5 course meal. Presentation was beautiful, taste superb & atmosphere was very comfortable/cozy. Great service by the very attentive staff. Would definitely return to Freemans Grill in the future. Sean runs an excellent operation!

I was hopeful that an ownership and name change would make this a better restaurant but I was wrong. It continues have a drab interior even though there are claims that they renovated. Maybe a few new chairs but otherwise an uninviting bar staffed by unitnerested bartenders who are more inclinded to chat with eachother or known patrons. The two bartenders are holderovers from the last regime. I ordered oysters. Much to my astonishment, they had dry shell beds - trust me, not how they are suppossed to be. Either the kitchen is incompetent at shucking or don't know any better. Maybe the retaurant side shows more promise, but I'm not inclined to find out.

The fish was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. The staff was pleasant and engaging as well as prompt. Our waitress, Cassie, was helpful and really nice and knowledgeable. On these points I highly recommend Raw Bar. On the other side of the coin, they charge fine dining prices for a pub-like atmosphere dining experience. The portions were smaller than expected too.

Been passing this place for ten years and finally decided to try it. We were not impressed. The menu had a little of everything on it, and we tried a variety of different things. None of them were very good. The interior is dark and dated, and service was very average. There are too many good places around to go here, sorry.Sorry you were not impressed. We always wish for our customers to have a great experience, and most of them do. If you would like to contact me further about what meals you had, I would be happy to discuss any issues that came up. [email protected] Have a good summer!

We were there for one of the Jazz Festival evenings. The cocktails, including the Daisy Chain were delicious! The small bites were a mixed bag. The falafel with salad was flavorful along with the manchego cheese. The crab fritters were not warm and the sauce didn't have much taste and texture wasn't great. The music by Suede was an amazing night, despite the rainy weather!Dear Kim BThank you for your review and for joining us at the Jazz Festival. We appreciate you taking a moment to share both the highlights and areas of improvement. Rest assured your feedback has been shared with our team and is helpful in our efforts to continuously improve. My best wishes for a pleasant remainder of the summer and we hope to welcome you back for a future concert.Best regards,Josette C. WillisDirector of Quality Assurance

We ate 2 dinners here during our event visit. Great service and even better food. Our most favorite item is the burrata toasts with tomato jelly. The scallop dinner was excellent as was the lobster roll. The bar is generous with their pours and the service was prompt. We liked the casual feel of this tavern and will definitely return.

This restaurant changed hands in April and it shows. I wouldnât say the food was bad but it certainly wasnât what it used to be. Entire staff seems to have changed and prices are higher. A little disappointed as this was always a favorite restaurant.

This place had a very friendly staff and a good selection of local beers on tap.The food was tasty, but mostly bar-type grub. Nothing outstanding, mostly burgers sandwiches and things that can be dumped in a fryer. If you're looking for vegetarian options, they don't really have many. Later, after speaking with our friends, who are locals, they say this place used to be really great, but then they started taking a huge amount of cost cutting measures and the quality plummeted. Who knows...Unfortunately, finding a good place to eat when you're on vacation can be difficult. Basing it on the average of reviews is also hit or miss. We were hungry and we were looking for a cheap eats find. Being in Chatham, it seems as if even the cheap eats places are way overprice. This was not the worst place we'd ever been, by far, just not a stand out. On a plus note, their homemade curry veggie burger was quite tasty. And the staff is super friendly and attentive.
